I went in to upgrade my M1 papers to my M2. I waited an hour to be served, there was only one service window open. Whoever schedules breaks, maybe stagger the times so that you don’t have everyone on break at the same time.

Although wait times may have been extended due to covid19 protocols, yet, I had a great experience and friendly interaction with staff. I think they have been very helpful and very professional. As for the road test part of my experience, the lady testing officer was very professional and gave clear and precise instructions.

I did my G test with instructor ROB and let me tell you that he was extremely polite and respectful individual. He gave clear instructions and provided valuable feedback at the end. He was such a down to earth individual which you hardly find in an examiner. ROB - If you are seeing this review, I would like to say thank you for doing your job honestly and it was a pleasure doing my test with you. I would also say that staff inside the test centre is great and polite as well.

Fast and efficient service. My examiner was very professional and polite. All the test centres have delays, and especially with Covid it’s normal for your test to be delayed. However when I visited, they were running right on schedule. Remember, they don’t fail people on purpose. If you follow the ministry guidelines then you will pass. They also don’t give the “score sheet” automatically, if you want it, you must request it.

I passed my G test today and I had a very good experience. All the workers inside were very nice and polite. My instructor Amanda was so nice and even though I was very nervous she made me feel a little more at ease. I just want to make a special shout out to her because she made it a very good experience for me and I won’t forget it!:)

If I could give a 0 I would. I went for my road test today and had a short haired lady with burgundy hair also polish judging by her accent. I was already nervous doing my road test but proceeded to be polite as she came in the car. She started off looking irritated saying my car was really hot even though we aren’t allowed to start them before the examiner comes. I asked her if she’d like the air on she said no response so I did it anyway in hopes her mood would improve. I practiced with my mother in law prior to the road test and she said I was perfectly fine. During my 3 point turn I barely touched a driveway as I had limited space on the road and she yelled at me and said WHAT ARE YOU DOING! It’s a 3 point turn! Now already being yelled at I’m nervous and complete the rest of my turn fine but she still failed me even though she asked for a 3 point turn in one of the tightest spots. I parallel parked fine and asked to pull up a bit to fix myself. Again no response. Which I already knew I had 3 chances to fix myself so I did it anyway. She also told me not to check my mirrors so much and to check my blind spots which I knew I was but I wasn’t going to argue. She then told me I didn’t meet ministry standards for my test and sent me home in tears even though I’ve been practicing weeks for this and thought I had it perfected. All because of a horrible spot to do a 3 point turn I failed and not even a major mistake literally didn’t even go up the driveway just to the bottom of it and she assumed I was gonna go up the driveway and failed me. Again I’m looking into other locations because this one seems to be full of irritated instructors who don’t like their job and don’t want to make anyone feel confident. How is someone not suppose to be nervous when you’re giving attitude and making them feel worse. She will also tell you you’re not in your own lane and fail you for that when I could see the lines in my mirrors. Again I’m not upset I failed it’s just the fact it was a couple very minor mistakes where I’m sure any other instructor would’ve passed. As they weren’t dangerous for anyone on the road. Some instructors could at least be honest. If you’re irritated with a previous driver you don’t bring it into the next car you go into. I almost didn’t want to start my test because of the attitude. They need some new instructors because the way they yell and belittle people will be nearly impossible for anyone to pass.

Abdul is a great examiner. I passed my G test and he was very polite. Also he knows how to keep you calm and relax during the test which prevents you from making mistakes. My overall experience at this location was great. I had early morning appointment so there was no line ups and waiting time.

Poor customer service. They could improve their service by improving signage and providing a greeter at the door to check that you have necessary documents before you wait an hour to speak with someone. Let me help you out: If you are coming for a road test park outside and then come through the front doors and turn to your right and look for two electronic sign-in kiosk stations. Enter your information in one of them and you will be given a number. Take a seat and wait for that number to be called. If you are coming to attempt your written test enter the front doors and make a slight left, entering your information into the kiosk ahead of you. Take a number and have a seat. Be prepared for a long wait. Make sure you have your necessary documents with you, including photo ID with your signature on it, and a way to pay any fees charged. The staff are efficient and courteous and very “by the book.” Be patient and grateful you don’t have to do this every day!
