C	Chris Badiuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long 12 hour drive from St Catharines there were two things I was looking for, a good bed, and a good meal. I was not disappointed with either. Food service was fast and friendly. I had the mushroom chicken and French onion soup.. can honestly say that was probably the best of those things I've had at a restaurant. With the apple turnover for desert. 5/5 thank you!

The gentlemen who took the order wrote down the exact following in front of us on a piece of paper: Hamburger add ketchup mayo and tomatoes + side fries (The burger was advertised with relish mustard lettuce and tomatoes already) Cheeseburger no tomatoes no relish no onions no mustard light mayo light ketchup + side Caesar salad (The cheeseburger was advertised with lettuce tomatoes mustard and onions if not mistaking) What we got was a hamburger with mustard and lettuce only plus fries and a cheeseburger with only lettuce and smothered in ketchup and mayo to the point that the bun was soggy…. We waited 20 minutes for the order so we we figured let’s go get it fixed. Firstly the lady who was the second person to help us was very rude and gave us attitude (dark short hair and glasses), I took nearly 10 minutes for the sandwiches to be “fixed”, the buns they replaced for the cheeseburger were stale and cold, both burgers were cold by the time we ate them, so were the fries, but we still enjoyed the fries and the Caesar, well I hope Cesar salads aren’t something a “chef” can mess up so that was good too. Overall I won’t be stopping there food again and I hope the owner(s) can fix the communication issue between server - kitchen as the order was written down perfect right in front of us.

J	Jodee Weber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate at the restaurant while driving through from sault ste marie. I had the clubhouse sandwich with mushroom soup. After the sandwich I wanted to try everything on the menu! Great food and friendly courteous service! Hope I get back this way sometime!

K	K J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driving through Terrace Bay I have had the displeasure of stopping here several times. Every time is the same experience, attitude and zero customer service. I have to assume it’s family (working) the front counter. They are rude and could not care less about the customer. This time before going in I said to my wife ok I am going to forget about all the past experiences can give them the benefit of the doubt, well I did and here we are. Management please reconsider who you put on the counter, I have to assume they greet, check that disappoint, at least 50 or more people a day. You have a nice spot but reputation is everything.
M	Marius Pepin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After driving for hours in a snowstorm that was getting worse and worse, pulling into the parking lot of this establishment felt like salvation after crossing the Atlantic in the 17th century, on an old sailboat! The motel has nice rooms decorated with lots of wood, the reception staff is very welcoming and efficient. Now the restaurant. As I stepped into the place, I felt immediately at ease. Craving a good steak meal, being days on the road, I ordered a classic medium rare 8oz piece of beef that I could've not cooked better at home. The whole experience was so pleasant that I splurged and had an extra side of mash potatoes! Lol Seriously, the server Shannon and hostess Tara were a big part of this successful evening, combined with the very reasonably priced house red wine they had. (I'm french, and I say it was good ?) No pictures of food because I ate it too voraciously ?

The hotel is clean and very well kept, the beds are comfortable and the rooms have a nice rustic decor. The staff are helpful and polite. The store and restaurant are open early and close late. The restaurant is fantastic! They have a great menu at a reasonable price. The kitchen is very fast and the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The wait staff are friendly and do a great job of making every visit a good one. I definitely recommend staying and eating here!
