S	Simon Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad wifi, also kind of pricey 135$, they left a coat hanger on the floor and it pooped our air mattress, Theresa random lines going across the roof, this motel isn't worth it you got a kitchen but there nowhere around to get any food to cook with your kitchen.

The rooms were clean, warm despite the -20°c weather and the couple who runs it are so nice and accommodating.. We checked in fairly late and they stayed up and waited for us!! Will definitely stay here again, a total hidden gem!

If you're a family non vacation and a budget THIS IS YIUR HIDDEN GEM. Large room, and full kitchen, with great rates!!! 99$ with a pet fee. The original 70's devore gives a nostalgic touch that will warm you up. If you're a big time city folk looking for a 5 star with modern decor keep trucking ! Seems these reviewers were looking for just that.... this place is truly fantastic. We enjoy staying here every trip across Canada.

A	Amanda Duggan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ownership is friendly and they stayed up untill 11:30 pm to check us in. There is good water pressure. The room it self was not very clean. There were used masks and water bottles under the bed. Kitchenette was dirty. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. The fridge was full size but was very loud.
S	Samantha Betker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service was incredible, my friend and I were advised not to stay in Thunder Bay (only a really rough area motel was available there) so we just kept driving, couldn’t find anywhere to rent except for Filane’s. the owner made sure we had a place (even tho it was already after 11pm) we kept driving, he stayed up to make sure we arrived safely and got into our room (it was after 1 am when we arrived) rooms were dated but honestly the loving caring feeling we had from the owner made up for that all around. He was defiantly our guardian angel that night. Thank you again Cosmo for everything

There are a couple of things that could be improved, (bathroom sink, stained towels,) but it was clean, just what we needed after a long day of traveling. Definitely going to stay here again.
