Drain Master Plumbers

I attempted to book a job to fix a storm drain, however after delivering a quote I was unable to get a call back to actually get the work done. I emailed and called several times and no response.

I had Drainmasters replace the waterline at my house. What was supposed to be a 2-3 day job, and turned into a 9 day ordeal, during which they took out my hydro. This was out for two days. They offered to refer me to an electrician, but I ended up calling BC Hydro instead. The guy from Drainmaster I was dealing with was more concerned about making excuses then getting my power back on. During the power loss I had to stay at a hotel as I need to use a CPAP machine. When I mentioned that and that I lost all of the refrigerated/frozen food in my house, an expense that cost me $532 ($332 for hotel and $200+ in lost food) they said nothing. They didn't offer to pay me back or give me a discount. In fact, it took them two days to apologize for the inconvenience that the power loss caused me. Even after the job was done, the stress was not over. When I received their bill, they had not charged me the additional $1,500 for the extra length of the driveway that we had agreed on. They updated the bill and I paid it. Drainmasters then came back and said I owed an additional $1,500 that we had never agreed on. (This amount was not included in the original quotation). This went back and forth for about a day and a half. I refused to pay the additional charge and they said that they would not guarantee their work, which didn't surprise me. My experience with Drainmaster was very frustrating and stressful. I found their customer service to be horrible and their workers barely competent. Right after all this, I had to replace my hot water tank. The plumber who installed the tank found that the Drainsmasters’ connection into the house was leaking. He fixed it as a favour to Drainsmasters. I would urge people to check out this firm before contracting with them.

I recently had a water main replaced. From the estimate given by Tyler and the job done by George and Andre, Everything was very professional. They all showed up when they said they would. No damage to my yard and driveway. They replaced my water line trenchless Amazing! Would highly recommend this company.

Recently hired Drain Master Plumbing to come fix a major water leak issue that cost me almost $2000 in utility bills from the city over the past year. I needed a company to excavate the area near my water metre and replace the water line from the city main to my house, Drain Master Plumbing did just that. I would like to firstly compliment on efficient this company is with dispatching it’s plumbers. The estimate I received from Tyler (manager) was very reasonable. The job took a total of four days and each day the plumbers Habtamu and Tedros came to my house on time and worked hard everyday. They were incredibly nice and had to dig several holes 7 feet into the ground by HAND in order to get to the leak site. They used quality material and backfilled the area well. Jody the receptionist was kind when I called with concerns and questions. All in all very happy with the service from got from this company.

They showed up to my residence on time as stated, they were very professional, positive attitudes, knowledgeable, very tidy while working within my home, put down drop clothes , outside they completed the job to above my expectations. And there were no hidden costs , the estimate was the final cost. no surprises very easy to deal with. A note ,the technicians on site for both days were top notch, well done

A great big shout out to the outstanding customer service that I received from start to finish. This project was particularly daunting to me and all the stress was released due to the confidence and reassurance from Lance. Lance came to assess the problem, he provided me with a free estimate on the spot. This quote was very detailed and was explained to the last detail. I had to have a drain tile replacement due to a flooding in the basement. I felt more confident using my estimate from Drain Master due to Lance's professionalism. So impressed with Drain Master and the work they provided with replacing our main waterline. From our first call to how quickly Tyler came to have a look and give us the estimate and quickly scheduling the work. Once the guys arrived they were efficient and worked hard to get it done. Came back to ensure concrete replaced and yard was left immaculate. Highly recommend to everyone!

Five months in and my new water line is holding up well. My water line replacement lasted 3 days, due to some trouble that Andre, Paolo and their helpers diagnosed and tackled. My waterline required hammer drilling into the side of my foundation because the old water line could not be fished out. It also involved no small amount of digging through rocks and dirt outside to access the old water line. Part of my cabinet under the sink also had to be cut open. This job was full of hard labour, but they confidently took care of it and updated me on their progress (both good and bad). I appreciated their full honesty, positive attitude, and how they respected covid precautions (at the time, the public health orders were still in effect). They missed a bit of cleanup (concrete debris not readily seen) at the end but I took care of that and it was not a big deal. My quote was fully honoured and detailed. My insurance company wanted some extra information and Tyler quickly complied. Overall, I have no complaints, and would not hesitate to call them again.
