T	T More on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Persad is a great Dr. She performed both of my c-sections and I healed wonderfully. No noticable scars! Yes, she may have a straight forward approach (I prefer my Drs to be this way) but she's knowledgeable and capable of keeping you and your baby alive! That's what matters most! I found her to be very friendly and caring even whilst caring for many other expectant mum's in labour.
N	NM Raz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I read all the reviews first. This is my third baby and so far Dr.Persaud has been exceptional. I’ve had many losses in the last two years and was recommended to her due to the risks involved in my pregnancy. She’s been blunt and honest, which is something I need. She gives me the facts and tells me what can or cannot happen. So far I’ve felt well informed the whole way and I prefer it that way! Any hiccup I’ve had a quick call and I am in contact with Dr.Persaud within 48hrs (for a high risk doc that’s actually very good!) Her receptionist is in no way rude! Remember she’s the front line all day dealing with us cranky, needy moms! She gets you what you need when you need it, you just have to ask! I love them both and am glad I’ve been able to have them with me along this ride. Wait times are like any other doctors office. You can’t solely blame the doctor because some people don’t show up on time and there’s been many occasions I’ve had to reschedule last minute which I’m sure affected her schedule (nonetheless they’ve always been accommodating and have even stayed after hours!)
E	Erica File on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have worked in healthcare since I was 16 so I've worked with my fair share of doctors being 29 now. Reading the bad reviews I am a little shocked. She is an amazing doctor she is smart and straight to the point. When dealing with the public and patients in high risk situation you have to be direct so patients understand the seriousness in the situation. She clearly is a very busy doctor if you have ever been in her waiting room yet she always is on top of the tests and results that I am there for . I don't know about you but when dealing with my high risk pregnancy I would rather deal with someone on top of her game then someone who is going to try and talk about my day to try and build a friendship! She is AMAZING DOCTOR . Also her staff is very friendly and kind .

C	Chantalle Sara Baboolal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Persad and Cassandra (her receptionist) are amazing! I was transferred to Dr. Persad's care after my midwife determined my pregnancy was high risk. Dr. Persad and the staff at the high risk clinic at Brampton Civic were professional and very friendly. They all made my first pregnancy and delivery experience great. Dr. Persad was direct, but always made sure I understood what was going on and what to expect. During my c-section she was quick and made sure I was okay the entire time. She checked on me every day at the hospital until I went home. My midwives always commented on how clean and well my incision healed. I highly recommend Dr. Persad!
P	Prii on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr persad is an excellent doctor. I had an emergency c and she delivered. I had pre-eclampsia so I had a long stay at the hospital both before and after the delivery. She was super compassionate and extremely worries when I wasn't doing well. She made sure that I followed up until I was perfectly fine with herself and another excellent doctor. I am back with her for my second child and I am extremely comfortable knowing I'm in good hands. Receptionist has also been really good. I've asked her questions and she was able to answer with no issues. You can tell she's worked with Dr persad for a long time and knows the whole process very well.

Since my first pregnancy took me to near death experience and for my second pregnancy I got rhe best team to look after me and help me to give birth alive this time. I will be most greatful to Dr. Vidia Persad and her team. She was the most amazing and she knows what she was doing. It's sometimes hard to find good doctors like her. Even though u nagg her that you want to go home she will only look after what's best for mommy and baby. Dr. Vidia Persad is a beautiful soul who goes out of her way to make her clients feel welcomed and loved.. She is compassionate about her work and made me feel comfortable to ask anything or say whatever was on my mind as I was seeking guidance. She is the most trustworthy health provider I have ever met and would have her over and over again as my OB! I absolutely adore her and wish her the best success and joy I love because she made me feel safe and comfortable and at ease every step of my pregnancy and delivery! Thank you sooo much . Without you I don't know if I would have made it out alive this time .

I had been transferred to Brampton civic as an emergency due to going into premature labour. Without checking anything about me, she told me that she guesses I'm fine now since I don't appear to be in pain. Except when she finally checked me, I was already 6cm dilated. She then asked me what I knew about trying to have a VBAC. I told her I have the potential of having a cervical rupture. She then replied, and "what else huh? What else?". I asked her what she thought would happen. And she told me that I could kill my baby. I asked her if she saw any signs or reason for that at the moment, and she ignored my question. Eventually, when I was in active labour, she began touching and stretching me without a single explanation of what she was doing. This caused me so much pain, that I reflexively kicked out. She told me she won't take this and said this is why she told me I should've done the c section and taken the epidural when she told me to. She told me to stop screaming while I was in pain. She also asked me to stop bothering my husband when I asked him to give me a few pieces of ice after I blacked out from pushing. When my baby was finally here and they got him to start breathing, I asked to hold him. I started crying and she asked me, "now what are you crying about?". Overall, I felt extremely unsupported and at times, ridiculed, by this doctor during a very traumatic experience. While I believe she is knowledgeable, she really needs training on bedside manner and how to treat women in an empathetic manner.
