Dr Usmaan Hameed used the latest laporoscopic procedure to remove my Neuroendocrine Tumor. I couldn't be more pleased with both the outcome and how I was treated before and continually after the surgery. He genuinely cares about his patients and doesn't rush anything. He even told me an hour before surgery that if I wasn't feeling comfortable proceeding with the surgery that he would be ok rescheduling. He took his time talked to me and alleviated my concerns and we went ahead. He's the type of doctor that would order scans and tests if he had even the slightest concern that something could be caught. I had the option after surgery to switch my follow up appointments to the cancer team at Sunnybrook but I decided to stay under Dr Hameed's care because I trust him essentially with my life. Thank you Dr Hameed. You are very appreciated.
