About Dr. Sloane Hunter - A NUCCA practice
Currently, she maintains membership with the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) and serves as board member on the Ralph R Gregory Memorial Foundation (Canada), which supports the Research, Education, Endowment and Public Awareness of the NUCCA procedure in Canada. In additional to regularly attending post-graduate conferences and seminars to broaden her professional knowledge of NUCCA and other chiropractic subjects, she also remains involved in the challenging NUCCA board-certification program of which she holds Part 2 Certification in a three-part process. She has also broadened her scope of practice to involve training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), which specifically trains doctors to treat with competence the specific needs of women in pregnancy, both pre and post natal, and pediatrics. She currently holds certification with the ICPA for the Webster Technique.
Dr. Hunters’ husband Mitch, is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and together they keep a healthy balance with quality time at home or outdoors and with their sons, Leighton, Calvin & Marshall. She looks forward to serving you in your pursuit for improved health and balance.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sloan to anyone who has at one time suffered head trauma and now needs to get their head on straight! She is approachable and very knowledgeable in her field.

What makes her care the best experience I've had is that she takes the time to properly observe and get to know your mechanics. So far I've moved around a lot and tried different practitioners and she is by far the best. I will continue to visit her and bring my family and friends that seek chiropractic care.

She makes me feel at ease and never asks me to come in excessively. She only asks me to come in when necessary for my well being. She has also seen my baby and has done a good job explaining his development and any alignment issues. Felt it was more educational visiting Dr.Hunter then the Family Doctor. Also their administrator is very friendly and the office is well taken care of.

I went in for a NUCCA adjustment and when she noticed that I was pregnant, she also gave me a prenatal adjustment using the Webster Technique, which she is certified and trained in. She recommended great resources for labour and birth positions and homeopathics as well. She made me feel so comfortable and was a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Her adjustments are gentle and almost always bring quick relief to my nasty headaches. I appreciate the explanations and review of my situation. I usually know when I need an adjustment and Dr Hunter has realized that while by her measurements I am borderline for requiring adjustment, I seem to know that I need one. Prefer her practice as, unlike some chiros who want you to come in 3x per week forever, Dr Hunter does not hound you after she makes her recommendation.

I find the staff at the clinic to be consistently professional and friendly. Dr. Hunter is extremely knowledgeable, precise in her treatments and compassionate with her care. Dr. Hunter's NUCCA treatments are gentle yet effective. I rarely get migraines now and when I do the pain is significantly less. I am very appreciative of the care that I have received and the positive impact it has made on my overall health and well being.

I would get adjusted and a week later feel like I needed to go back. Dr Hunter had me adjusted and holding my alignment consistently for months. What's different about her is that she truly cares about every one of her patients, and secondly, because of that she also adopts other techniques because she knows it can help her patients more. She fundamentaly understands its not about providing a service but about providing a result. After working with 5 other NUCCA providers, I can proudly say I won't be switching anytime soon. She's the real deal.
