โ โ โ โ โ Dr.Ahmed and staff are friendly. However the wait time can be up to 2 hours sometimes. (at least an hour for a very basic exam where she actually spends less then 10 minutes in total with the patient). She also gave my daughter a higher prescription then she needed and after 8 months of wearing the glasses we went back to her because my daughter mentioned that it is blurry. Dr Ahmed changed the prescription back to the original prescription.
She mentioned that this happens sometimes and called me directly to speak to me about it.
Another thing I noticed is that they try to upsale extra imaging when you go to see them for check ups, but maybe that is the case when one visits every Optometrist.

โ โ โ โ โ The last time I wore glasses was high school, I had an aching deep sense of dread when I heard I had to start wearing them again, mainly because I never felt confident in them. One of the staff that worked there, really helped me find the perfect pair, she was so sweet and uplifting, her knowledge in lens designs, coatings and her sense of fashion not only helped me find the perfect pair but it ignited my self confidence. Iโm loving my new glasses! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

โ โ โ โ โ This was my eye Dr. For me and my family for many years. Today Nov. 23, 2021. I called to book with her for myself and my daughter. We are covered by OHIP. I was booked on December 2nd. However, the secretary surprised me saying that Dr. SABRINA has to do 4 retina scan that will cost me $160 extra in addition to the Ohip. For my DAUGHTER, 15 years old, she has to do two scan that will cost extra $80. When I insisted to do only the basc eye glass exam, I was rejected and was told that no booking for any appointment at all but may be after the new year. This is definitely, unethical, not honest, and unfroessional behaviour
.from a very greedy person who does not have any respect to her profession. I will file a complaintto the college of optometry .

โ โ โ โ โ I started seeing Dr. Ahmed shortly after she opened her office in 1989. She was just newly engaged to be married.
I had my 2 children see her as well. So l have seen many changes over the years all good.
Yes, at times it seems your are being rushed through your appointment but remember your eye care is in good hands.
If you feel rushed, just politely ask her to slow down.

โ โ โ โ โ New to the city and I was referred by a friend I was quite surprised when I went in and was greeted by such friendly staff. Dr. Sabrina Ahmed took the time to really check my eyes and cover everything, considering it was the first time she saw me. I was very satisfied with my experience! The lady working with the glasses made me feel comfortable enough to tell her exactly what I was looking for! Overall 10/10 and I will recommend to my friends!

โ โ โ โ โ Dr.Ahmed is an excellent optometrist. My entire family see her. The receptionist is very accommodating especially if you need to see her for an emergency. Most places will say go to the emergency department and not want to deal with you. HighLy recommend Dr. Ahmed!

โ โ โ โ โ My husband and I are new to Canada and we were referred by a coworker to get our eyes checked for the first time. We found it a bit pricey to get full eye exams; however, in the end it was worth the price because Dr. Ahmed had referred me to an ophthalmologist to see a glaucoma specialist. Dr Ahmed has clarified and explained that I do NOT have glaucoma but because it runs on my side of the family, she just wanted to make sure that everything is a-okay. My husband ended up needing a small prescription for glasses which would help him with all the computer work that he does. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sabrina Ahmed and associates because she was very thorough with her exams!
