★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front desk is literally horrible, I would give the place a zero star if I could. Very irresponsible with patient files. They told me to go to surrey memorial for a checkup, then sent me to a specialist. I spent quite a lot of money to see that. The results were suppose to come to the family doctor and when we didn't get the results they were just like "oops the specialist retired and we forgot to ask for it what can I do about it now". Horrid service, don't go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Wang was condescending and rude. He showed no empathy and no consideration to what I was comfortable with. When I asked him to explain the referral process to a specialist, he was irritated and explained impatiently. When I requested a referral to a female gynecologist instead of a male gynecologist, Wang contemptuously stated he doesn't consider the gender of the specialist when making the referral and if I didn't like it, I should find another doctor. He clearly wanted the conversation to end by getting up and hovering by the door even though I had questions to ask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This family practice is extremely discriminatory. I do not know what their ideal candidate profile is. My Dad recently filled out their registration form for new patients. However the practice refused admitting my Dad because they claim:
1. He already had a family doctor
2. He provided false information to the question "Do you have a family doctor?", which he answered no
I called in to inquire about the matter. The staff kept repeating the above reasons even though I have explained that my Dad needs a family doctor and he recently suffered from a brain injury, which could have compromised his ability to fill out these forms correctly. I mean, people make mistakes filling out a form all the time. I do not see the big deal here and I specifically called in to clarify it.
After a few phone calls, the staff refused to provide me with any answers or talk to me at all. For a practice that is open to accepting new patients (at least that is what they say when you call in), I find the reasons of refusal incredibly disturbing and discriminatory.
I will file a formal complaint to the CPSBC.
