Getting my teeth cleaned has previously always been uncomfortable or actually even hurt. I was shocked when getting my teeth cleaned at Dr. Fika’s office for the first time that it did not hurt at all. Services are also reasonably priced with a more detailed, higher level of service provided. More time is often required for this care at Dr. Fika’s office due to this level of service, but they are very thorough.

I was new to his office and the staff were very proficient in securing a day/time for me to come in, and another appointment for follow-up the next day in case it was required. The staff then made sure all my insurance was in order and all of the logistics & paperwork were done. On the day of my appointment, I completed some paperwork and had a bit of a tour of his clinic. Throughout my visit I was made to feel comfortable and any anxiety I had was fully removed. The decision was made to fix the tooth then & there, which was done in a professional manner with extraordinarily little pain or discomfort. Later in the afternoon Dr. Fika called me himself to ensure everything was good, that my bite was good with the "new tooth", and to inquire as to if I was still frozen and if I was in any pain. I will be making a regular appointment with Dr. Fika for a check-up & cleaning and make his office my dentist going forward. I highly recommend Dr. Derek Fika Family Dentistry to anyone seeking a dentist, or a second opinion. Jason Woods

The office is extremely clean and is continually being wiped down as patients come and go. I have been to many dentists over the years in Edmonton and I can honestly say Dr. Fika and his team are second to none!

The entire office was very up-to-date with modern equipment and it has such a pleasant environment. Dr. Fika really loves what he does. The office is clean and welcoming, the staff were friendly and completed a screening to assess my wants and needs as a client which was a nice professional touch. The machinery is top notch and most importantly, Dr.Fika is a professional and gentleman I felt comfortable working on my child. Dr.Fika went as far as calling after 6:30pm on a Friday night to follow up on a procedure with my child. There is a reason Dr.Fika has been working here over 33 years in the same location, accolades to you Dr.Fika.
