Don't go there for a wax! Due to bad planning, the lady was over booked and was rushing and did a poor job. She spent most of the time telling me how much this will hurt, was very rough when wiping me down yet still left some wax residual that ended up sticking to my clothes. Never again!

DO NOT GET WAXED AT THIS SALON!!!! I got a Brazilian done right before a trip a while back and the wax lady had NO CLUE what she was doing. She kept putting too much wax and it wouldn’t take off my hair. She then proceeded to pile wax on top of wax, painfully ripping it off with no success. I had to tell her take off all the wax and start over. I than had to walk her through it even though I’ve never waxed anyone in my life. I was there for almost 2 hours and she literally took layers of skin off. For a whole week after my visit from hell I had to painfully peel my underwear every time I went to the bathroom. It stung to take a shower and it really hurt to even move. The worst part was near the end. I realized she was using the same wood stick the whole time so if there was any bacteria on me at all, it went right back into the wax to be transferred to anyone after me. I was horrified wondering if anyone before me had an STD or infection of some kind that I could have contracted. I wish I had went back to get my money and complain. I will never suggest this place to anyone and will never step foot in the door again. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would.

New owner Lily and her daughter are amazing . Both extremely friendly, and they don't sit there and talk their language . These ladies will actually sit down and have a conversation with you ... which is rare going to really any nail salon . Left very satisfied with my pedicure ?

Worst wax of my life. Dim lit room lead to a patchy job missing many hairs. Extremely hot wax burnt my skin, didn't remove all the hair and left wax on me so I was sticky. She used the same applicator stick over and over, sticking it back in the hot wax and applying it to my skin. So who else's skin cells are in that wax pot?!? Just AWFUL. Will never return. I would be put off waxing all together if this had been my first experience. Never will I ever go near here again!

I am originally from Toronto so I have pretty high standards when it comes to certain procedures. This place is great to get your waxing procedure done at an affordable rate that doesn't break the bank. Not only are they super friendly and supportive, Dennis, the owner of the business, really takes his time and informs you of the procedure and asks if you have any concerns/pain during the whole procedure. I highly recommend them to get waxed specifically in the bikini/Brazilian area! Currently he is offering a free Brazilian wax special to all new clients. Check them out cause they are the best place to get waxed in the city:)!

If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would! I had the most horrible experience for my Brazilian wax. I came in, a lady who does not speak English gave me some gross, old towels, couldn't answer any of my questions. Then she waxed me for a few minutes using soft wax, she was ripping it with skin, it was just too painful.. Then she apparently had to leave (not even half was done) so she called a dude to finish my wax. Now, if I say that it was uncomfortable i will be underestimating it. The man ended up keeping me there for 3 hours.. Yes, my Brazilian wax lasted for whole 3 HOURS!!! Trust me, wasn't fun. At some point he just took his gloves off. And someone already mentioned that the walls don't touch the ceiling, so a tattoo artist who was there also made me super uncomfortable. Until he left, and then I was actually hoping that he would come back because I did not even feel safe. At that point it was only me and the man who was doing my wax in the building.. The man kept telling me how soft my skin was and just being too inappropriate that I didn't feel safe. I actually wanted to text my boyfriend something like "IF I don't text you in 5 mins come and get me" I will never recommend this place to anyone!

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had. Let me just say that I've never given a bad review for anything in my life, but this was unacceptable. Please do not go here for waxing. First, I was led to the waxing room by a man. Honestly, I know that there are men that do Brazilian waxing, but I would have appreciated being told ahead of time that my wax would be performed by a man. He handed me a dirty, ripped towel and told me to use it to cover myself. I told him that I was uncomfortable being waxed by a man and he was visibly annoyed. He said that I'd have to wait for the woman to be free. Well, wait I did. In a room that was adjacent to a tattoo parlour with a wall that didn't reach the ceiling. The tattoo artist next door was blasting heavy metal and I could hear his client moaning and wincing as he was getting his tattoo. Not exactly conducive to a relaxing spa experience, but I wasn't ready to phone it in yet. When the woman came in, it was clear she'd never performed a wax before in her life. There were no lights on the ceiling so she took a dirty old flashlight and placed it between my knees. The first thing she did was cover me in lukewarm wax that immediately glued my lady parts together. She had to go and get scissors from another room to try to cut it all off, and at one point, she ended up having to wash it all off to start over. She was using the same wood stick the whole time and returning it to the wax pot, so obviously things weren't sanitary. She had to try waxing the same spots over and over again because of her poor technique and shoddy equipment and I was bleeding in several spots. By the time she decided she was finished, she had only removed hair from about half of the area in question, but I just wanted it to be over. She then vigorously rubbed my lady parts with a towel to try to remove the wax. Clearly, all that did was to rub a few more layers of skin until they were raw. Without going into too much detail, she was rubbing extremely hard on parts of my body that didn't require hair removal. It was horrible. The whole time, she kept trying to get me to buy a pedicure or a manicure or an armpit wax, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Why would I want another service when clearly she had no idea what she was doing? She didn't offer to wax the back, and when she left the room, she left me covered in wax and blood and almost as much hair as I went in there with. When I went to show my Groupon to the man at the counter, he kept telling me how professional they were; how they do this all the time, but they'd lost some staff. Well, I can see why. Never, ever again. *shudder*
