The floor plans are well thought out and the staff at douglas homes worked with me to ensure it was exactly what I wanted, within my budget. Building a home is a time consuming process no matter what builder you choose, and I found the staff at Douglas Homes to be very helpful and quick to answer all of my questions. Most importantly, I ended up with a beautiful, high quality home that I was happy to live in and share with friends and family.

During the design review, Douglas asked lots of questions about my family and lifestyle, and modified the plan to suit me. Consequently, I really enjoy the design and layout of my home. Any warranty issues were minor, and were dealt with quickly and professionally. I also appreciate the quality and location of my home.

Jason and Steve were so amazing and answered all of our questions and really made us feel at ease. They helped us with the walkthrough and noticed tiny things I would have never seen or even thought to look at! Derk was awesome as well and very friendly, he really knows what he is doing and treats you like a friend, not just a client. Roberta Gibbons was (and is) and outstanding realtor! Answered our calls and questions right away and was always able to point us in the direction and provide us with everything we needed to make our home buying experience a smooth and stress-free thing to do. Great design, and even better craftsmanship. We were a bit skeptical on the whole process of buying a brand new home but the team at Douglas Homes made it a very positive unforgettable experience. Special thanks to Christina Robertson and Doug for being there to answer all our question and making the possession date work on such a short notice. Being a brand new home there were a few things still unfinished but the builder has been pro-active in getting all the last minute details taken care of on a timely manner so far. We will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to build a new home in Calgary area.

The design team was excellent and worked with me to make sure I hadn't overlooked any details. They brought up things that I would have never noticed until I'd moved into the house, and I appreciate the thought they put into how I could live in the space we were creating. My custom requests were dealt with professionally and in a timely manner and I know that the team at Douglas Homes was equally as invested in the construction of my home as I was. My move-in was scheduled at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I was so pleased that Douglas Homes was still able to accommodate the turn-over. The quality of the design and construction was top notch, and I appreciate the commitment to quality from all staff members. I would certainly buy again from Douglas Homes!

I had a minor warranty issue today and Michelle and Jason co-ordinated a same day response and took care of the issue before the afternoon was out. Very positive experience through the home buying process and post purchase care. Would definitely recommend.
