About Reborn Renovations
While many renovation companies attempt to categorize their renovations into neat and tidy packages, at Reborn Renovations we find that most of our clients select elements from all our options, making a truly customized fit for all their needs. Although it is tempting to create gimmicky theme-packs and sticker priced Bronze, Silver and Gold renovations, these foot-in-the-door sales tactics are not our style.
The truth of the matter is that these simplified packages rarely reflect the complexity and diversity of renovations and home development options. Rather than bait our clients with a figure that we know will not be even close to the actual scope of work we agree on, Reborn Renovations prefers an old fashioned full disclosure, open ended conversation about all our options, all your needs and wants, and a very thorough inspection of the work space. By going over every single nuance involved in getting you from A to B, the client has all the information they need to make the important design and scope of work decisions. Once we've established your scope of work we can meet with the design team to discuss fixtures and finishes. Only then can we put together the true renovation or development package.
Our comprehensive in house quoting software system allows us to take all the raw data from our preliminary meeting and enter it into the system for an exact price, subject only to your final selections discussed with the design team (exact tile, carpet, plumbing fixtures, etc.). From there we can easily modify and customize options and give speedy feedback on how your new ideas may affect the price of the job. Some common examples of quote revisions include options for sound insulation, upgraded under lay, in floor heat for flooring, pricing out different types of flooring, adding a few more pot lights, adding some millwork or storage solutions. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reborn developed our basement and renovated an upstairs bathroom. We got the bathroom and basement of our dreams, we would use Reborn again and recommend them to our family and friends. However our main problem was the delay in finding out that we were 85% OVER budget. The work had already started and we didn't even have our cost list for our selections and cost of some of our changes. During the process we had made changes and we never knew the cost of those changes until the work had been done and we were presented with a very large invoice. Vito, our site supervisor, went above and beyond to get our project done to our satisfaction. He was absolutely amazing. We met with the designer Danielle to make our picks and go over the design. She promised to get the design to us in 2 week, it took 6 weeks. I tried to call Danielle several time during our renovation when we had a problem and she NEVER answered her phone. The only way she communicated was through email which was frustrating because so much can get lost in an email.

I worried about how we were going to make the right decisions around materials and finishes as the selections can be overwhelming. Danielle has a great system to help you choose your materials with confidence. Of course there will always be problems that will occur but every issue was resolved right away. Our Project Manager Rick was excellent at answering any questions or concerns we had right away. He brought in very competent trades who take pride in their workmanship.

RR came on top due to great communication, simple process and ability to select all items in design center. The job was done perfectly.
