Most of the reviews from this clinic are from before it was taken over by the group at St. Michael's. My Dr. is Dr. Kim who bought the clinic. I went to this clinic before and after it was taken over. It was terrible before but after Dr. Kim and his team took it over it became excellent. Dr. Kim explained that the cameras are all new, the staff is now very nice and the waits are still there but much shorter. The space is small is my only complaint.

Came here and parked, some guy in a white Van drives up to me while waving at me and tell me that this is private property and that he owns it. Haven't experienced such an unnecessary nuisance before.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The space was exceptionally well organized to deal with COVID requirements - e.g. I was the only one in the reception area, and the flow through the Centre was well planned out.

I want to thank Dr. Basahadri and all of the staff at Don Valley Endoscopy for the professional care provided. You made the experience comfortable and I felt well taken care of. I would use this office again when needed.

Very bad experience right from the start. The day before my colonoscopy I call the clinic to clarify something and the receptionist after getting my name said that I had cancelled my appointment. When I denied making the cancellation, she was adamantly repeating that it was me who called in to cancel. After some argument she came back saying someone with my last name had cancelled and not me. The apology was terrible and not sincere. Next day at the clinic, they had my name with someone's address. Then, two days later, they call me to rebook my "cancelled appointment". I told them to get their records straight at the clinic. Now, today I receive a call saying the doctor could not bill as my health card number was not accepted. Of course, they did not have my health card number right. When I told the receptionist that they were so unprofessional and that I was not coming back, she said that's fine.In my 20 years in Canada, this is the first time I have experienced such unprofessional service.

Terrible clinic and doctors, preying on newcomers to Canada, lying their way through. After having a referral sent in and waiting for weeks, I had a consultation appointment with Dr. Margulies scheduled by her office. She was supposed to call me between 3-4. Waited by the phone, she never called. I called them at 4:15 and was told she left for the day, but seems she took my file with her, so maybe she’ll call me from home. Never called. Called them again the following day, and was told by another receptionist that this is all wrong, that the way it works is she looks at the my file and decides if/ when she wishes to call me. She has not called me. The first receptionist was saying she’s been very busy, while the second one I spoke to the following day, Arjay (?) was incredibly rude answering every question with β€˜I don’t know, it’s up to the doctor’. I asked if I will get to eventually speak with this doctor and he said β€˜yea sure’ haha. *** just following up on the clinic’s response: I absolutely did NOT cancel my endoscopy last minute- a week before the procedure I called and asked if I may first speak with the doctor first, tell her my symptoms to determine if this invasive procedure was the best way to go. They said instead of the procedure I will get a call that day, which I did not.

A recent hiccup in health got me to ask my family doctor to book an endoscopy and a colonoscopy at a place of my choice. Having already gotten an endoscopy done a few years ago, it was a convenient location or me to choose with ample free parking. A call to the center got me an appointment for a Saturday morning on my request which was within a week. The receptionist was very accommodating and emailed the instructions promptly. Apologies for not asking a few names of staff to offer our praise for their efficiency and professionalism. Come Saturday morning, we're met at the center by a young gentleman who was very thorough with the paperwork and got me settled in. A few minutes later, I was called in by the nurse, Diana I recall. She walked me to a room where she asked a few necessary questions, checked my blood sugars and directed me to change and wait in the room. The center was clean and well run. I was shortly then transferred onto a bed and was asked to relax and wait. A while later, I was rolled into the main room and was received my Marianne, the nurse and Dr. Deb (Sorry if I spelt it wrong). The friendliest of conversations took place among the 3 of us reminiscing careers in different countries, which took away the edge of the nervousness one would feel in such an environment. Dr. Eng then walked in, and introduced himself, a very polite gentleman. I was positioned and was out like a light bulb within a few seconds, only to be woken up what seemed like 4 secs with the procedure all done. Diana was very polite, efficient and considerate. Made sure that I was well enough to dress and wait for my spouse to pick me. Dr. Eng came and explained what was done and what would need to be done. Thorough and polite and ready to explain if need be. Thank you to all the team members at this center. I'd like to wish everyone health and best of it, but for any reason if you need a procedure, I'll definitely recommend this place.

i visited this location to complete my first colonoscopy. All staffs including receptions, nurse and doctors are nice, made me comfortable and answered questions I had. Spent 1.5 hrs there. The actual colonoscopy took only 20 mins. The clinic is not that big. but their processes were so smooth that you did not see chaos. parking is free. They sent detailed instructions to prepare you for the operation. suggestions that can improve: turn up the heat especially winter time. It can be chilly when patients are waiting in their hospital gown. try to minimize patient waiting time in the clinic.
