★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a diamond in the rough. Because of COVID, the owner has all kinds of food portion sizes for their orders on display. At first it’s odd but then you start to look around and it starts to become interesting. The owner has posters of wrestlers, and his love for vintage eras, and “Readers Awards.” My only recommendation is that I wish that I could see them make the food. All this is done at the back of the restaurant.
I ordered an XL Medium Veal Sandwich to go with a drink. Sandwich was excellent! Sauce was tasty, bread was fresh and look at the amount of veal you get. $12 meal. This is a place you drive out of your way for! Well done Don Franchesko!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changing my review from 5 star to 1 star because the quality of their food have gone down significantly in the last year even after raising the prices. Especially the last pizza I ordered from this place was horrible. I ordered over the phone for a 28 slice cheese pizza. It was dark brown, crispy and tasteless. Maybe they just warm up a cold pizza for me which wasn’t picked up by another caller. The sandwiches too don’t taste like before. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it seems the new owners or new cooks have changed the recipe for pizza, it used to be really and i mean really good and tasty, now it seems they use marinara sauce instead of plain old tomatoe sauce, it is terrible, why change a good thing? pizza is also soggy not crispy as it used to be.. i been buying pizza there since about 1996, food quality has gone down the drain, i will avoid it at all costs.. TERRIBLE!!!!

Ordered veal to go, get there and says he couldn't hear me. So no food for me, so I can't give a review on how their veal sandwiches are now compared to 1.5yr ago.
Let's just say with new ownership & workers, I won't waste my 30min lunch and gas to drive there & back from Rexdale anymore!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I asked a guy who worked here how their sandwiches were compared to California Sandwich, and he goes “u can’t compare our sandwiches to theirs cause ours are the best” and let’s just get one thing straight here….Cali Sandwiches are GOOD.
So today i called in orders my food for pick up and went in to grab a chicken sandwich.
First of all I asked for cheese, and paid for it, but got no cheese at all, then after taking a few bites I know why the worker said not to compare cause their sandwiches are not even close to tasking as good as a Cali sandwich. Sorry but it’s the truth. That was one of the worst sandwiches I’ve EVER had!!! No joke
