We took our dog there after he collapsed in what we thought may have been a seizure after surgery (which was not done at DMV but at our family vet). The quality of care was above and beyond, every employee who came into contact with our dog was very warm and gentle, which has not always been the case elsewhere. We were also pleasantly surprised to be allowed into the consultation room, as our family vet did not allow this due to Covid. The receptionist at the front who took down our initial information and opened our dog's file was very kind and efficient. After about 10 minutes in the waiting room, we were taken into a consultation room for the first consult with I believe his name was Dr. Osorio (not 100% sure). He was excellent and patient as we went over everything that had happened to our dog in detail. He then let his colleague Dre. Sauve take over, and we were suggested a battery of tests to do at our discretion. Keep in mind animal care is very expensive to begin with, but given the nature of the incident with our dog, we wanted to rule out anything serious. The wait for the tests was a bit longer, so the overall experience was just over 3 hours. In the end, we were very satisfied with the service and care our dog received, and would highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

I was so impressed with the entire team mat DMV, and especially with Dr. Planté. The care and patience they took to examine my dog and answer my questions about my dogs’ surgery was incredibly comforting and helpful. I always felt like my pup was getting an incredible quality of care. Thank you so much to the team at DMV!

I went to Centre DMV for my first time last night unexpectedly for my grandmother's cat. I was seen within an hour, and the whole process was about 6 hours, mainly because of various tests being done. Dalia, the vet, was very kind, explained everything in detail and I felt I could trust her. In an environment which I expected to be nothing but stress for the employees, she was very calm on the outside. Yes it's expensive, but was worth it for me. Otherwise, everyone was really polite and I would come back if I have an emergency.

I brought my dog in for an eye injury and was impressed with the quality of care. The wait time was minimal (about 40min) and they let me go into the consult room with him (unlike lots of other vets). The technician was also great at explaining the treatment plan in detail. Although the prices are high, I found the quality of care to be great.

Unfortunately last month we had to say goodbye to our Westie..Jasper at the age of 8. We had been with Dr.Javard since he was 2 and am so grateful to him for his wonderful care. Absolutely DMV is expensive BUT the care and compassion that Jasper was given was worth every penny spent. Thank you Dr.Javard for always going the extra mile for us!!

The vets are kind and competent, but the corporation owning this place is so greedy, charging many thousands of dollars to have your pet simply hooked up to IV medicines for a few days. Disgusting. Also the place is understaffed and they can't even keep the bathroom clean.

Look, I know it’s expensive. But when we woke up on January 2, when almost everything in the province was closed because of the pandemic (including all the vets) the DMV was still open. A bunch of people got out of bed, put on their masks, and went to work; lots of them probably haven’t gotten a booster shot yet. Because they were there, because they went to work and literally put their health at risk, my pet got the timely treatment he needed, and he didn’t die. I think I that deserves 5 stars. We had to wait for only about 2 hours to be seen (I say “only” because they were literally the only vet open on this part of the island, and several other pets came in and were rightfully triaged before us)—I waited in the car because of the one-person-per-pet restrictions—and when we were finally seen, the vet was okay with doing it over speakerphone so both my partner and I could ask questions. He stayed overnight, giving him his medicine regularly, and we got several check-in calls and a picture sent to us. They diagnosed what was wrong within a few hours, and I thank goodness I’ve been able to keep my own job to pay for the astronomical bill. Was it a great experience? No. I took someone to the emergency room who couldn’t tell me what was wrong. But they were open when nobody else was, and my pet would most likely have died if they hadn’t been there. So sincere thanks to everyone who works there, vets, techs, and the admin staff.

So pleased with our experience! We’re from Ottawa and we we’re referred to this vet for a specialist to do my dogs knee surgery. Dr. Gatineau is the one that performed the surgery almost 2 weeks ago and I was so impressed with the stitching and that I was easily able to help my dog get around and he’s recovering so well so far. They took great care of my pup. The team is also amazing, great communication and I never felt once I had to re-explain myself to any of the staff, everyone is friendly and I can’t thank you all enough for this. Keep at it DMV team! :)
