Perfect place to go if you're a newbie to motorcycle maintenance or you want easy access to all the tools and equipment you could possibly need. Warm and friendly atmosphere, great pricing. Sean is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does.

DIY Moto is a great place to learn the skills for working on and maintaining your motorcycle. They have all the tools you would need for almost any job and any tools that they are missing can be ordered in. Shawn, the owner, does a fantastic job of accommodating you throughout any task. Everyone in the shop is friendly and outgoing making it a perfect atmosphere to wrench on your bike, or just hangout. I highly recommend DIY Moto.

Excellent time for myself and my teenager at the shop last night!! Shawn and the crew were awesome in explaining and demonstrating how to get our tires swapped. Which made it a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. When one of the beads accidentally got some damage, Shawn jumped in and helped get the bead to pop and complete a evening on a great note!! I would recommend this shop to anyone, especially to someone who wants to learn to do a bit of their own stuff on their bike but doesn't necessarily have the tools to do it.

DIY taught me everything I know about bikes. I’m pretty sure I was their first ever customer and on my first visit to the shop I did a chain adjustment. It’s a very simple task but I had no idea what I was doing. Thankfully Shawn was there to help me when I had questions and in no time my chain was road worthy once more. Cut to two years later, I got rid of my 2014 KLR650 and purchased an 83 Nighthawk 650, my dream bike. After getting the Nighthawk I had to rebuild the top end, replace the valve seals, reseat the head and countless other things before it was ready to be to go. It’s old and it’s finnicky and it requires attention and the ability to spot a problem before it becomes a disaster. I would never have had the confidence to buy my dream bike if it weren’t for the help of the DIY community and Shawn. I cannot recommend this place enough and I also cannot stress how little I knew about bikes before showing up. I mean, it was honestly irresponsible for me to be riding a motorcycle. Seriously, I was a disaster. Also Shawn helped me custom fab a sissy bar for my Nighthawk and it's awesome.

I cracked the sub frame on my ST1100 on my last trip across Canada by carrying too much in my Givi trunk. The guys at DIY Moto used their TIG welding machine to repair the sub frame. Great job done right and they fixed it while I hung out. Awesome. Highly recommend these guys.
