They don't pay their tradesmen. If you do end up hiring him for work, expect someone to show up at your door asking YOU for money. BE CAREFUL!!!
M	Michal Samborski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my suggestion is you try someone else. found dealing with Shane and co stressful and frustrating. project manager was never around. lot of the work was done by young guys that either didn't care or didn't know any better. left unattended they made mistakes and did poor quality work. i felt i had no choice but to constantly check with them and keep an eye. since project manager was never around communication was an issue. schedule kept slipping for no good reason without good communication of delay (ex. they're supposed to finish friday. thursday i see they're nowhere close to finishing. only when i ask they say they'll need another week. this happened 2 or 3 times. what i was told would take 2 weeks, took 5. what i was told would take 2 days, took 2 weeks. only thing on schedule were invoices. whenever i complained work isn't up to par they'd come and fix it, but the whole process took so long and was so frustrating in the end i gave up on some smaller things.

Shane was always available and supportive for each phase of the project. At the end of the project ADCOR immediately addressed any deficiency we noticed and any deficiency that ADCOR discovered. ADCOR Construction and Sons stands by their work 100%. It's a great reno company.

I always found them to be professional and their workmanship (especially carpentry) is second to none. Summary of the projects: The first project was a two story addition on the back of our house. The first was an extension of our kitchen and the second story was an incredible bathroom that was featured in a magazine. The second project was a custom garage to replace a 100 year old garage. The third project was a 2 story addition on the front of our house where the first story is a porch and the second story is study room. We've hired a handful of different contractors over the years but Adcor is by far the best for 4 main reasons. First, if you've ever needed building permits in an older neighbourhood (we are in the Glebe), it is a pain in the a**... Adcor took care of it easily. Second, they are SUPER clean. This is especially important if you are living in the house during a big renovation. The job site was always clean - no other contractor we've worked with was as clean. Third, they have extensive experience with older homes which is invaluable. They told exactly what to expect before they opened up the walls so we had no surprises. Lastly, their finishing workmanship, especially their carpentry is exceptional. All of our projects match the original architecture of our house. They are not the least expensive contractor but they are also not the most expensive. We've found their pricing to be fair and great value for the quality of work. I would not hesitate to refer Adcor or to hire them for my next project.

Adcor not only did a great job of the work, but they did the work in the most professional manner possible. Everyone on the Adcor team takes pride in their work and goes out of the way to treat their customers with kindness and respect. We also appreciate how strictly they observed COVID-19 protocols during this year of the pandemic. We are very happy with Adcor and would use them again in a heart beat!

The work was done on time and on budget even with some minor changes. The porch looks great, but just as importantly, the company and the crew were friendly, flexible and professional. He took the time to assess the structure and worked closely with us to design a three-season covered space that enhances the character of our old home. Rowan and the crew on site were very professional, friendly and helpful. They were also very safety conscious including COVID precautions that were important for us. The whole team takes great pride in their work - the carpentry and finishing touches are really beautiful and we are so happy with the end product.
