★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone in the know, in the area, knows Dick's reputation. When it comes to transmission work, it's THE place. I was first sent there, years ago, by my mechanic, near Millgrove. The local Canadian Tire sends people there ( ask me how I know ;) ). This last time, my tow truck driver ( yep, transmission trouble ) told me that Dick's has the best reputation. As he said "people talk". So.... they don't take credit cards. Another review cut off two stars as a result. Well, guess why... It has Zero to do with their integrity and quality of work. They take bank cards, cash, etransfer ( which is why I am online at the moment ). They are fair, honest, helpful and just plain good at what they do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had just bought a 2012 Jeep Compass, I got my spark plugs replaced, oil change...thought there may be transmission problems. But there wasn't. Later went back for a Relay to be replaced. They were fair with time, and cost. And they are about more than transmissions. Thanks Harmen!

Not just the best transmission work you'll find for hundreds of miles, but full service repairs as well.
These guys are awesome, friendly, informative and thorough. I travel from Brantford to have any work that I need done on my car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My transmission had a leak so I brought it over for them to have a look and get a quote to be fixed, this being a transmission shop I figured I went to correct place for my repair. $106 dollars later I was told they can’t fix the leak I asked why they said it’s supposed to leak. So much for supporting local businesses.
