Best Pet store in Canada

s	sam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good selection of small animal supplies, however all small rodent cages are ridiculously tiny and I can't find eight inch wheels anymore. 3/3 of the mice I got from them died of cancer at under a year and a half old. When I bought a budgie from them I was told I needed grit, a cuttle bone, and vitamin powder, but all of those are unnecessary and can even be harmful. A friend got a cockatiel who two months later died of liver failure because she was overweight from the start and in poor health. Overall a typical pet store, good for most supplies but I don't buy animals here anymore

I decided not going to buy the food went to hinton to pet value and the same brand same type of dog food was 35$ dollars cheaper. Never buying from them again I’ll make the drive to hinton or order online and still be cheaper. The vet was cheaper.
S	SuperiorWolf158 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not buy fish if planning to add to current tank. Fish are always sick. Had fish from Pet Smart that were perfectly healthy a couple of years ago. Added Diana's Pets fish and they got a disease called white spot disease. That killed off most of the fish until they were treated. Been getting more from Pet Smart since. Later on we added a suckermouth catfish. Had more Pet Smart fish until the suckermouth turned carnivorous. 4 fish remained for a year until the sucker grew old and died. As of a week ago those 4 fish were still perfectly healthy. With only 4 left we decided to add more. Diana's Pets is much closer. we had a total of 10 to add. Day 1 the fish didn't look or act right. slowly fish from Diana's started dying. 2 of the original 4 died off out of nowhere. 5 fish remained and the Diana's fish developed some sort of film over them while alive. Not even a week and every fish died. Second time Diana's Pets fish were diseased and ended up killing healthy fish.

I always love talking g and dancing with Candy thats always a highlight. Staff are usually helpful. Little over priced items is my only issue with diannas.
