Customer service is not good. The owners are not friendly and rush you. Maybe it was my fault because I arrived at 3:00pm on Sunday and they close at 5:00pm, but I would have rather been refused service then to have all my belongings touched. The amount of laundry i had normally would have been three loads. They're machines are tiny and i was forced to use 6 different machines. In the process of getting my clothes into the washing machines, they were yelling at me to hurry up. I wanted to make sure all my clothings were washed with clothing of the same kind, but the owners rushed me and shoved my clothes in and put their own coins into the machines to start it. The machines took 30 min to wash and I was not aloud to leave. They yelled at me as I tried to go to shoppers drug mart across the street. Once my clothes were washed, i put my clothes in the dryers with the appropriate limit the pictures show on the wall. The owner came to watch me and took clothes out and put them in another dryer. I ended up using 8 dryers. In total some of the dryers were only holding 10 clothing items. The service was horrific and a nightmare, I was so embarrassed to have my belongings touched and to have been yelled at infront of other customers. Another customer even stated that I had a lot of patience while another person told me to tell them to stop. Im not sure why they targeted me, maybe it was because i was younger or because i arrived at 3:00pm and they wanted to leave earlier, but I assumed because their hours state it is open until 5:00pm they would still give their clients a chance to wash their clothes. Other than that, my clothes seem to be washed very well. I will give this place one more try and I will arrive early. I hope to have a better experience so that i can change my review.

Good Service, are willing to work with the customers if you let them know what you need. Some machine challenges and out of order. Looks like they need help managing some customer flow who are not as courteous of their equipment. Commercial drop-off services used were fantastic, I would advise for more time or weekends when doing coin laundry or DIY services as they tend to get overloaded with customer flow during the weekdays.

I came in to do some laundry and the elderly male (owner?) Berated me and my friend. He made very disparaging remarks about indigenous persons.

Awful! They scammed me for sure ! Almost 50 dollars to wash and dry. And I had to fold myself. NEVER using this place again.

The owners are always friendly and kind. My laundry is always ready on time. The drop off service is excellent. I have been going here for years. I’m so thankful they have been able to stay open during this crazy pandemic!!

Please don't come here! The woman is so rude and aggressive! She literally chased me out of the laundromat over 75 cents! After putting my clothes in the dryers (I used 3) I went out to run a quick errand upon my return she had put one of my loads in a bin and all the doors were open. When I touched my clothes they were still semi wet even though I put enough change for them to be dried (20-30 mins). She kept yelling at me that I used the wrong dryer and that it was staff only - even though the dryer she told me to use also had the staff only sticker. When I told her this she said give me extra 75 cents. And I asked why? This is when she began yelling at me in her language infront of other customers. She tried touching me and I told her to step away and don't touch me. I didn't even get to fold my clothes I just threw them half dried in bags and left. She then ran after me and wouldn't let me reverse my vehicle. I am shocked and was shaking. This woman is clearly mentally unstable and very aggressive.

I'm impressed. The laundry machine in my apartment broke and I was forced to visit a professional laundry. This business was the closest to my home so of course that's where I went. I used to think that I laundered my clothes well but after receiving the laundry service from this Dewdney Coin Laundry I was sadly mistaken. My plain, cheap, tee-shirts have never been softer. My towels, once rough and raspy, are now immaculately pristine and soft while retaining their absorbancy. I dropped off my laundry at 11am and received them back at 3pm on a Tuesday. The price was thirty dollars for two large loads. I received my laundry professionally folded and in a plastic see-through bag to retain the freshness. I must reiterate, I'm impressed.

I would expect a business who performs service for you, to do that service until complete. However that was the case when bringing a large quilt here to wash. I honestly stay away from writing bad reviews because typically there is no point for half the negativity in the reviews I do see. I digress in this case. When I brought in the quilt, the woman running the place immediately did not let me touch any of the machines, and told me to put the quilt in a washer that she chose. I then paid for the service (they only accept cash). I was told she would call when my laundry was done. When I did go to pick up my quilt, I right away noticed it sitting in a bin, still wet. Might I add I dropped off the quilt around 1pm, expect it to be dry. I asked why it wasn't dry, and she said because they close at four. It was 3pm. That quilt certainly doesn’t take two hours to wash and most certainly could have been thrown in a dryer. When I asked why it wasn't dried, I had a very difficult time trying understand what she telling me through her a thick accent. Her husband then said because they close at 4pm. If my quilt didn't have time to dry, I would except to have been told this before leaving it to wash. Maybe there needs to be some clarification about service upon dropping off items, and better communication between owner and clients. Yes, I was expecting it to be dry when picking it up, and perhaps it is my mistake for misunderstanding. However if I go to a laundry mat to wash my items, it makes complete sense to leave with them dry. I would love to offer up suggestions on how to avoid poor service like this in the future. Right now, I am very disappointed, and was frustrated having to leave with a wet quilt, that is too big for my dryer.
