If you have skin melanoma— this clinic is not for you. My husband and I contacted them and were pleading for an earlier day for him to see a dermatologist but got a date two (2) months down the road. My husband was at that clinic over two years and needed a new referral. My pleas, his pleas to move the appointment to an earlier date met with indifference and misinformation. First, they said that the family doctor didn’t specify why it was URGENT. Then, when the doctor re-faxed her urgent request with specifics of melanoma, they said that they already fit my husband in two months down the road. That two months was the earliest they had. I wonder if I call with Botox injection, if they’d fit me in next week. Two stars only because my husband was there over two years ago and it was okay. I was there two years ago and it was horrible. We both will never come back to this clinic. I know that our pleas were considered by the management as we were told so. In that case, it’s the higher up that create the atmosphere that I read about in other reviews. It’s not just one bad employee.

Dr lomaga try to listen more to your patients, discuss with them about your treatment plan and the drug you’re planning to prescribe before starting to write the prescription, some of us might like to be included in the decisions your making and give your patients more time at least more than 5 minutes!

I had read the reviews before going to my appointment today and expected terrible service. However, I was blown away by my experience. The receptionist was very friendly. I was punctual for my appointment and made to wait only 5 minutes because the chairs inside the rooms were being disinfected for me before meeting with Dr. Lomaga. He was very helpful and referred me to his colleagues for specific issues I had. The receptionist worked with me to schedule my upcoming appointments quickly. I have no complaints and I look forward visiting again soon.

Took my 95 yo Dad in for removing some skin cancer. They did not talk around him (he's all there) but were also reassruing and avoided freaking him out over what was in the end not actually a major health threatening issue. Thanks Dr. Pak!

Was nervous due to the reviews, but was surprised. Had a very good experience. Went on time and did not have to wait long. Was in the office waiting for the doctor in minutes. Dr Lomaga sat me down and gave me my diagnosis. He provided the cause and treatment for it and answered all my questions.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Everything was terrible from the onset. Here's the short story; I asked my doctor for a referral to dermedge. Heard nothing back. When I was back in my own doctors office 6-7 weeks later I asked if they submitted the referral..because I had heard crickets. My doctor looked in her file and said "yes, and your appointment is Oct 19". Great, I call derm edge to confirm. Yes!! I called derm edge to confirm my appointment. No one contacted me (instead I was texted a few days before my appointment to confirm, how nice). Anyway, I get to the appointment and wait over a half hour in a dirty room for my consultation (and I'm not being mad, the white office was not so white, I wondered if they had cleaners. The door & the table looked dirty). The dermatologist took one look at me determined my procedure would not be covered by OHIP. He said come back for another appointment with the surgeon. I asked him how much the procedure would cost, which is a fair question. I predicted OHIP would not pay. He could not tell me the cost. Said I had to make another appt and the surgeon would quote me. SO, I made another appointment, arranged child care, waited another 30 minutes in their very high traffic waiting room only to be told my procedure would be $900 dollars.....REALLY, could the first doctor not have saved everyone's time and quoted me on this. Needless to say, I hated every experience I've had with this clinic. They really need to address why it is necessary for two doctors to see one patient. The surgeon should have seen me right from the beginning. I have been a patient of two other clinics in the GTA and have had way better experiences. Namely the mississauga plastic surgery clinic - personal, professional, never felt I was wasting my time or a number in a line. What I can't get over is how many people were in the waiting room at dermedge..it was like a mill. Nothing personal, private or warm about the experience. BOTTOM LINE: THERE ARE WAY BETTER CLINICS - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. To the reply below: please know that I was rescheduled w/ a surgeon two months later, who took a 30 second look at me and said "oh that small thing". There was nothing major about my surgery/removal. Anyway my experience was terrible. And ALL the ONE STAR ratings are telling you something about the level of service you are providing. People are having bad experiences! As a business you should be addressing them, not making up excuses.

I’ve been going to this clinic for years and I’ve never been disappointed with the service or conditions. Dr Lomaga and the nurses and staff have always been friendly and professional. When I needed to be seen again a few years later I asked for a referral here as a return patient. No issues at all.

I had an appointment at Dermedge today after several months of wait and several calls that I made to them just to check if there happens to be a cancellation and they could possibly fill me in at an earlier date. To my surprise, the lady at the reception tells me that your appointment has been cancelled because the doctor is not available today and will be operating from another clinic starting June. I received no cancellation call, no intimation whatsoever. I requested to be allotted to the earliest next appointment and to my double surprise she gave me a date one month from now. Highly uncourteous, unapologetic behaviour by Michele who spoke to me at their clinic front desk. I then asked her about my son’s appointment that was requested in Oct 2021, she gave me an appointment for Oct 2022. This endless wait to this clinic and then to face such rude behaviour, i would rate this place at minus if there were such rating options. Frustrating experience.
