★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Put the has browns on the wrong plates did not provide butter for the English muffin, did not check in at all had to find the server to get help with the hash browns and butter only brought butter when the has browns so the English muffin got cold had to ask for a new warm one so the butter would melt. Left feeling really ripped off and this is not the first time dealing with this kinda of service over the last 4 years we have occasionally stopped in to see if things have improved to no avail. We will only be going to the downtown location which can be slow but they don’t mess up the food and the service is night and day from this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for breakfast today and was quite pleased. The restaurant definitely needs some upgrades,but the staff and food were good. I injured my finger while opening the menu, got stuck quite bad with the staples in the middle of the menu as they were not flat, the waitress was very pleasant and gave us my order for free. They did not have the prime rib needed for the Philly steak omelet but was tasty with the pot roast they used inside instead. My partner was quite happy with his order as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great. The wait for food was what I expected given it was Saturday morning, prime brunch time. We sat at a really warm table, but I closed the blinds behind us and it was much more comfortable. The food was great. Seemed better than the last time we went (early 2022). We'll be back!

The most-recent visit was to pick up our Christmas dinners (the third year in a row for us), and the meals were delicious, as expected. Just double-check your order before you leave with it. Mistakes can be made, but Managers are quick to rectify any errors.
Overall - a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The colwood Denny's has gone so far down its gross. Booths are cracking and dirty. Menu doesn't have much for grain/gluten free. It has three salads. One waitress was expected to look after 7 tables all by herself, and she spread herself thin, which resulted in a frazzled bad attitude. Definitely needs another waiter/ress to help. Because of this, it was extremely slow service. Nachos hardly have any toppings. Cutlery was dirty. Definitely needing an upgrade/rejuvenation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a wonderful visit. A meal without our older kids! Wife and I enjoyed a simple meal together. Our server (Tracy) was very pleasant. Covid protocols were followed properly. Denny’s is a nice place to come and feel comfortable, and enjoy some comfort food. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time visiting Denny’s in Canada, and I had a great time with my bf. The service was nice, and I love hash browns. We were starving so we ordered steak and deep fried pork, but I think that was not a good idea to order these on a famous breakfast restaurant lol.
Will definitely come back again and try other dishes!
