Excellent workmanship, creative solutions, very professionl team. Designed and built our deck and patio and met our wants without sacrificing the stability and strentgh of them. Very pleased with their ideas and execution.

I’d like to commend Deluxe Fencing and Decks for their excellent customer service and the high quality of their work. Mr. Brandon Murfin, President of Deluxe Fencing and Decks, is not ‘another contractor’; he is an honest, serious, responsible, skilled and resourceful person who will respond to your calls, listen to what you need and come up with a reasonable and well though out solution. My home was hit by one of the September 2018 tornados that passed through the city of Ottawa. The fence in our property was destroyed and the deck severely damaged. I live in an end unit and my fence is shared with seven different neighbours. Brandon was very patient and created multiple estimates for both the fence and the deck and answered all our questions. He also produced individual invoices for each of the neighbours and communicated with them directly. He agreed to modifications during the planning and construction phases of the work. For instance, initially all the fence was going to be built with wood, but one of the neighbours inquired about the possibility of building in PVC his section of the fence. Brandon created new estimates and delivered an excellent job that had to match another PVC fence done for my neighbour by another contractor the previous year; you couldn’t tell the difference. Regarding the deck, our initial agreement with Brandon was to build a new one in wood, with the same characteristics of the previous one. He had already built the foundation and the frame when I learned about new composite materials for decks. Brandon provided advice, made improvements to the design and suggested good quality materials reasonably priced. We are very happy and satisfied with the final product. Brando strives for quality and that is also reflected in the selection of the members of his crew. They are respectful, diligent, friendly, cooperative, hard working and resourceful. Robert (Rob) is a remarkable young man that embodies those characteristics. Rob and Brandon went beyond the call of duty: At the time they were working in my property I had hired another contractor to work on other repairs needed for my home. This person was dishonest, took an initial payment and when it was time to start the work never showed up. When I was finally able to locate him, it was one lie after another, and the work was delayed week after week. Along with the decisive support from a neighbour, Brandon and Rob provided advice and material support that contributed to me being able to recover my money. I could continue providing examples of the multifaceted high caliber of Deluxe Fencing and Deck work. Suffice to say that, in my view, if you’re able to hire them -they are in demand-, you can consider yourself fortunate.

The team was professional, worked well and completed the project on time. They helped us with custom modifications to a standard fence line. Quick to answer questions and very pleasant to deal with!

Great experience working with Brandon, Rob and their crew. Beautiful craftsmanship and a pleasure to deal with. Love the new cedar deck and appreciated them helping fill in gaps in the old patio stone. Crew was friendly, polite and left the site clean at the end of the day. Get to them early as they are busy but worth the wait.

Absolutely amazing experience from Deluxe Fencing and Decks!! Brandon, Rob, and the crew came prior to our expected date and installed a beautiful PVC fence and went above and all our expectations in completing this job from start to finish. The team dug further into the ground to ensure they were able to get the fence as close to the ground as possible, I have a small dog who loves to dig so this was essential for me. My fiancé and I are very impressed and would highly recommend their services, we are looking forward to getting them back to complete our deck later in the season.

Brendan, Rob and the team did a terrific job on our cedar fence this summer. They were great to work with and extremely professional.
