Far too expensive for 2nd hand merchandise. I rarely go in there anymore. Can buy some of it brand new for less. Everything is nicely displayed, but the prices turn me off the place. Rarely you find something that is reasonable, like their CD's or linens. I realize the money is going to a good cause, but so are most other thrift stores. I know they don't like being called that and really very little, that is thrifty.☹???

You can find a deal here, just not on clothing, shoes, or accessories. There have been repeated complaints about prices, yet nothing has changed because this thrift store has dubbed themselves a "high quality second hand shop'. Donations are being taken from the community but they're alienating their community clientele from purchasing these items because of their outrageous prices. They boast "something for everyone" and "neighbours helping neighbours", while selling a faux-leather belt for $16.99. A discoloured Abercrombie and Fitch t-shirt is on the rack for $14 in their non "boutique" section. A TNA Cowichan sweater is priced $50 when Value Village has 6+ of them for $12.99. You can purchase a new with tags crop top for $15 with the $14.99 price tag still attached. When these complaints are voiced a copy and paste reply is given saying that individual pricing can be discussed. It shouldn't be the public's job to review the pricing here. If it's a known problem there should already be a solution. It's a wonderful thing that proceeds are going towards supportive, palliative and bereavement programs in the community, but you're doing yourself a disservice when item's remain untouched and overlooked because of the enormous price tag. Things sit on the shelves for months with no reduction. Price things fairly while keeping in mind you're not eBay, Poshmark, or Threadup, so that the community and Delta Hospice can benefit.

I find this place very high priced. I have actually seen a couple of items priced the same as the new on sale price at local stores. I would like a breakdown of how the profits are shared between Hospice and whoever owns the store. People who are really poor can’t afford to shop there. I prefer my donations to be sold at reduced prices so someone who really needs them can afford them.

Some things are good deals but some are just way overpriced for a thrift store.

My name is Jasmine Barredo. I visited your shop today but I forgot some items that I paid already & I will pick tomorrow. Your staff & your store is one of the best. Staff/volunteers are very nice to customers. I always love to shop at your store. Thank you.
