We have been going to Dr. Burt for almost 13 years. Great optometrist with a nice selection of glasses. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and affordable prices. I have been coming here for a number of years now. Have recommended it to many people and everybody has left a happy customer. Doctor Burt and the team are wonderful folks. We have almost become friends over the years!

Got safety glasses back in Nov. 2018 (Just remembered this place because I'm getting new ones at the moment) They were very friendly, and I decided to go with the WX BOSS. Unfortunately the ones on display didn't have the leash cord with rubber temple grips that you NEED to have on to wear them otherwise they won't stay on your head, and they display ones didn't have the removable facial cavity seal. My point is that I wasn't informed of all these features that I need it, so when I got 'em I was a bit surprised and I knew already the strap wasn't going to work for me because I wear a hardhat all the time, but the lady insisted to give 'em a try, at least for a week. Of course they didn't work for me, got strap 'em all the time, the hardhat hits them in the back, so lift the front a bit, so gotta strap them even tighter, they get foggy because of the seal, anyway terrible glasses. Went back to return/exchange them and they weren't so helpful now. They just say they couldn't do anything about it, "we're just a third party" and the only thing they offer was to spray them with anti-fogging once a week at location. It was just my experience, I'm sure if you don't have the need to return or exchange a product, everything is great here. *In responds to your reply, thank you for taking the time. Like I said, I'm in the process of getting a new pair, and found the WX Boss in my locker and said to myself might as well share my experience, better late than never. I'm sure a lot has changed in the last 16 months at this location. It's just with a line like "With our team of experts here to help you, choosing a frame that fits your style and needs can be fun and effortless!" some people might expect that. Of course, like stated before, it just wasn't my experience. Again, thank you for your time.

Went in to get glasses and an eye exam everything seemed all good. The next time I came in they had my glasses ready for me with the prescription that they took with my eye exam. We were going through the process of getting the glasses adjusted and they seemed very eager to get me out of the chair and shoo me out the door. The lady had barely adjusted my glasses and told me it was all good even though I could visibly see they were crooked and not right and she only fixed it upon request. When I first put on the glasses though the first thing I noticed was that my vision got WORSE, definitely NOT what I was paying them to do for me. I mentioned it to the lady "helping" me and she said how I should go home and wear them for a week and then my eyes will adjust to them. Now I've never had a pair of glasses where I put them on and they don't immediately make me see better but I thought because I hadn't worn glasses in years that maybe my eyes would need time to adjust and above all, I trusted her professional opinion, big mistake. So after a week of stumbling around my house with a headache and being dizzy due to these glasses they gave me, I scheduled another eye test since I could tell something wasn't right. So I go in for another eye test and the doctor there wouldn't give me another eye test!! That was the entire reason I went there that day! All he did was sit there and try and convince me that my eye test was done just fine and that my eyes just needed even more time to adjust. I don't know what pair of glasses takes weeks to adjust. Oh and on top of all of that he was trying to convince me that I needed another pair of glasses too! The lenses I wanted to get for my glasses were progressive lenses so I would be able to see good close up and far away, but he was trying to convince me that I needed reading glasses also, even though you get progressive lenses so that you don't also need reading glasses, totally was trying to scam me out of more money. So after them refusing to give me another eye test I decided to go to the another optometrist and get an eye test. The guy there did it and then I told him how i just went for one but they messed it up, I had the prescription that the doctor here gave me and he put it into his computer and showed me the difference in the eye exams. The results were unbelievable. The eye test the doctor at Deer Valley Vision Center gave me was horrible, I was barely able to see anything, but the one the other optometrist took was great! I could see everything, and it didn't take any more than .5 a second to adjust to my new prescription the person at Walmart gave me. Today I went back to Deer Valley Vision Center and asked for a refund on my glasses and eye exam since neither of them were done correctly obviously. They gave me my money back and only described the situation as "unfortunate". After all of that I didn't get a simple apology from anyone there. I wasn't aware that an optometrist could mess up an eye exam until I came here. Service here was so disrespectful, no one was ever willing to listen and always thought that they were right because they're the "professionals" even though I had told them numerous times that things were not right. I will never be coming back to this place, I couldn't find worse service if I tried. Would not recommend to anyone.

I’ve had eye glasses for 30 years now, and I have never been treated with such caring and approachability as I was with Dr, Burt and his staff. They were kind, concise, and efficient. When I had questions, they answered with easy to understand explanations. They conversed with me as though I had known them for years, yet this was my first appointment. The technology used was more than I had ever seen before in any other eye glass shop. Dr. Burt cares about your eye health, and not just selling glasses. Their frame selection is modern and sophisticated. This was the first time my eyes were measured to where they would fit in the frames. The staff made me feel comfortable and confident in their services. 100% I would recommend going to this location. You won’t see better service than this family oriented team. Thanks for everything you guys! I finally understand more about my eyes!

Amazing optometrist and really well-trained staff. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in need of an eye exam or have some sort of eye-related health concern. Dr. Burt is really welcoming and funny, and you can tell that building quality doctor-patient relationships is important to him. I also really appreciate that its a local business. If anyone is looking for a good way to give back to those in the Calgary community, as opposed to big businesses, I would definitely consider stopping by.

The staff at this clinic were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Winnicki was kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! I will be booking our whole family for eye care appointments here going forward. Thank you :)
