Unlike the motels in Ontario, this one was much more cheaper and comfortable and the breakfast was better than nothing and even better than some other hotels that just give you a bag with some snacks in it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible stay!! Fridge did not work…. Room smelled. Pool was freezing and the breakfast was nasty and had nothing no bagels … horrible coffee …etc. Kids running up and down hallways all hours of the night …. Beer cans everywhere ..not worth your money

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is actually a pretty nice motel. The BIG problem is they advertise one price online, then its 20% more on the receipt. Their excuse... you're a walk in... lol... it's on the TransCanadaHwy.
Nice place and worth the charged price... but dishonest right from the start. So perhaps give your money to a place that doesn't mislead... just saying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt extremely unsafe the moment we walked in the doors. The hotel is isolated on the side of the highway and looks completely run down. We weren't even sure if it was open and running when we walked in. Room door did not lock, window glass had been replaced with styrofoam and the only other living soul in the building was a very unenthusiastic front desk worker who was extremely rude and unhelpful. Ended up leaving after seeing the room and found much better locations on the other side of the highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were caught in a blizzard and stayed two nights. The staff was very accommodating. They opened the restaurants on off hours, granted the selections were more limited but the food was really good.
The beds were comfortable and they're cat friendly. ?

The staff did get the TV working and switched out fridge. Heat doesn’t work in room. Pool is NOT heated even though when I called they said it was

No air conditioner...
The place is pretty big, and pet friendly, AND directly across from one of the best dog parks I've ever been to. Walking distance even.
Owners seem friendly
The only downfall was the amount of garbage on the property. Someone really needs to pick it up, it's such a nice property. Shame.
