★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in the North East of Calgary. It was Sunday and I wanted to fix my suit and to dry clean my winter coat because I had a business interview the next day. I did not have an appointment from Dave, I just walked in. Even though I did not expect him to do the tailoring, he welcomed me and made the job in short time with a cheerful smile and professional conversation. I thought he might charge me a lot but at the end he asked for a fair price.
Honestly I suggest Dave’s Custom Tailoring to everybody looking for professional tailoring with a fair quote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So disappointed! I took some clothes here to be altered several months ago. I dealt with a gentleman who was very nice, and did a wonderful job on the clothes. I went in again yesterday afternoon, was greeted by a woman who was SCOWLING at me as soon as I walked through the door. I showed her what I was looking to get done, and she rudely informed me she couldn't do it. I took my clothes and left. I went to another tailoring shop close by, and they were able to get done what I needed very easily. Unfortunately, with such a negative experience the second time around, I won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there a few weeks ago to have my dress shortened. I posted the original length of the dress and after he repaired it. I say he did an awesome job and I love it. I could have posted the reciew right away but I do not want to give any info till after the wedding

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got totally different messages from calling and chatting! Over the phone I was told that shortening and tapering would cost me over 100 dollars and I definitely felt I was being used and manipulated in a creepy way, but in the chat I was told it's gonna be around 60!
Didn't feel trust worthy and I used Henry's instead!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had them replace a zipper on a kids jacket. Figured it would cost in the range of $30-40, they charged $60! The jacket is not even worth that. Completely dishonest and a total rip off..never will go back. So much for suppprting the local mom and pop shop. Very disappointing.

He has done alterations for me previously, but today was a zipper repair on my bag. Not only did Dave fix it perfectly in less than 2 minutes, but he did not charge me for the service. We had a delightful chat all the while and I walked out happy and satisfied.
