They tried to create excuses for what they "forgot" to do, and in the end they admitted to their mistake. People seem to enjoy this daycare, and I wish I had a good experience too, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

We took our little 4 month old Maltese + Yorkie (Morkie) pup in for his first trim today and he came back with the most precise and even haircut with the perfect face shape and proportions for his body. Anyone with a dog seeking the best dog groomer ever should go to Dapper Dogs in Port Coquitlam. Thank you again for handling out little muppet angel with extra care. Based on a recommendation from a non-pet owner who had heard about Dapper Dog from her other friends with pets, I made an appointment to bring Freyja, my Golden Retriever, in for grooming. Freyja will be 14 years old next month (July 2022). Our regular groomer closed her shop early this year as a result of the pandemic. I dropped my Girl off in the morning and we were greeted very professionally by the gentleman at the desk. I filled out the necessary forms and Freyja went into the back with her tail wagging. I picked Freyja in the afternoon and my almost 14 year-old Girl not only looked like a puppy but she also acted like a puppy too! She looked great. Actually, better than great, she looked awesome! Dapper Dog did an excellent job. Freyja, with her blonde fur, was all gussied up and ready to turn the heads of any German Shepherd 20 metres away! As I picked up Freyja, some of the groomers were leaving for the day and Freyja wanted to spend more time with them all and sat beside one while we were getting ready to leave. (I'm beginning to think that she did not miss me as much I missed her during the day!). This just reinforced to me I made the correct decision in coming to Dapper Dog as Freyja was telling me they treated her very well. I am picking up two eight-week old Golden Retriever puppies on 02JUL. My home is going to be busy however I know I will be bringing all three of my Girls back to Dapper Dog in the years to come. e	er ja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have brought my dachshund Rupert in for grooming here frequently for the past several months, since moving to the area in the summer. Each of the workers here are super polite and friendly. My dog has a little bit of separation anxiety, but I don’t worry about dropping him off for grooming here because I know the workers here are sure to give my guy the attention and care he needs. Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

He had a couple areas of matting I had missed under all his fir that they informed me they would have to shave. I expected him to come home looking a little goofy but they blended it so well that I can't even see it. He looks amazing, thank you guys for taking on such a big project on such short notice! P.S. To anyone who's new to owning big old dogs like I am: make sure to tell the groomer your dog's age when making an appointment so they can assess whether or not they're comfortable taking them on as a client.
