★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time going to the Nail Spot and from the moment you walk in, you know this place offers something special! Decor is cute, staff are friendly and facility is spotless. All COVID protocols were followed closely so there were no concerns with safety at all. I got a gel nail fill and Susanna was my nail tech. She did an amazing job! I’ve been to several nail salons in West Van, Yaletown and Granville Island and Susanna did my set to perfection. 3 weeks later and they still look great. I will definitely be returning to the Nail Spot in the near future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called in to book my waxing appointment because I always take significantly less time then they book me for, because I've had laser hair removal. I was informed they had to allocate a certain amount of time for each area I wanted waxed. Day of treatment as predicted my treatment took an hour, not the 1 hr 40 min they forced me to book. They charged me for the full 1 hr 40 min even though i was out in just under an hour as I said when I booked the appointment. I won't be back, there are better value places, to spend my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a very loyal customer and did this place disappoint me today. I was looking forward to getting my nails done. I booked one month in advance. I am driving from Vancouver to West Van . Unfortunately the weather was horrible and there was some traffic after leaving an hour early. I called in to let them know ill be a bit late, no answer. I assumed it was due to them just opening up the store. When I arrived, I was informed that my spot has been given away. I did not receive a courtesy call to see I'm on my way. I was so disappointed and the alternative options were not the best as it didn’t fit my schedule.
I honestly felt like a price and not a customer. I do understand that they are running a business but customer service wise I feel like they failed to do the best they could. I left crying and disappointed as their apologies didnt seem very honest and true. I feel this could have been all avoided if they bothered to give me a call or answered my call. I honestly really liked this place but after this experience and disappointment I dont think ill be back. :(
