★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Building needs major maitnace. The drains give off a foul oder that leaks into the rooms and the heating in the building needs to be turned down. I shouldn't have to open my window and turn on a fan when it's - 10 degrees outside

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a horrible place to live, I strongly recommend not living here. The residence staff are completely incompetent. They will try and hustle you out of every last cent. They'll advertise lower rent and the day before you move in, jack it up on you when they know you have no other options. They advertise cleaning services but if you try to book it the week before you move out nobody will return your calls or e-mails and then their staff will charge you over $400 to clean your suite when it probably took them a couple of hours. They completely extort all of their residents because they know they have the power of the university behind them. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! I am especially worried about people new to Canada, I think they would probably try and take even more advantage of you. Live off campus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s nice, staff is friendly, but simply not worth 1000$ per month for an studio. Considering the Covid restrictions you have almost no access to amenities normally available. And the internet here is one of the worst internets I’ve ever seen, and I’m coming from a third world country! Absolutely awful and embarrassing. You can expect at least one complete disconnection every zoom meeting.
Edit: The air conditioning system is noisy and you can’t control it. There are keys on the wall but they don’t do anything. It’s noisy enough to not let you concentrate. Also it sporadically starts blowing cold air into the room to freshen up the room air, but when it’s already -10,-15 degrees outside it will make the room too cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am currently staying in this residence. Believe me, this place is not worth the money they are charging. You cannot control the temperature of room; they charge extra for the laundry services, etc. Excellent places are available off-campus.
