Wonderful provincial campground and well maintained. Fairly private well spaced camp sites. Power at sites and water available at taps spaced around the campground

Best campsite around. Although they have dropped the backpack option for children . So Sad was a great attraction. Also since they contracted managment out grass is not kept well , volunteers hostests never come around anymore and greet or inform you of the attractions available or promote the birdwatching good fishing , walking and hiking.

I went with the sole purpose of camping at the tent only sites on George's Point which require you to hike or paddle in. Although it wasn't stated on the website, the trail was closed and therefore the campsites on George's Point were unavailable. It looks those sites have been abandoned for a while. The regular sites are not at all private and there is no option for sites without electrical service--an unnecessary extra expense for a tenter.

It was nice size. Quiet during the week lots of trees. Walking through the campground on the paths felt like you were right in the bush.

Great campground and not too far from Edmonton for a short trip. Good fishing and nice little beach area. The only negative that they need to fix is the massive hornet nests by the dump station, so keep that in mind when you go.

We just got back from a weekend trip what a great place certain areas are move private than others as expected! But he staff was great the beach was awesome! They had parks and beautiful trails! Cell service if you need it isn’t bad, there are certain sites that are dead zones but I had no issues at Site 14!

It’s not advised to swim in the lake the quality of water is very poor with Algae everywhere if you are camping there for swimming it’s the wrong place . The spots has no privacy it’s open .. You need to drive for 18 mins on a range road to reach the gate of the camp. We enjoyed hiking .. there is a nice trail The mobile network is very weak and sometimes it’s gone . The lady in the reception was so nice and she has a good customers service .

Wow. Unexpected. Beautiful sites, capable of accommodating units larger than advertised. Many of the sites provide privacy. Nice clean washrooms, the whole campground is well maintained. Nice playgrounds for the kids. Only faults, power seems low, had to put fridge and water heater on propane to use a/c.
