★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GCT Deltaport is Canada’s flagship container terminal. Located at Roberts Bank, it is an 85-hectare (210-acre) facility with a 1,100-metre (3,609-foot) contiguous berth. The terminal handles the largest transpacific container vessels in service and features a fleet of high-speed, super post-Panamax cranes. The facility employs state-of-the-art computer systems and has an on-dock intermodal rail yard with eight tracks totaling 8,534 metres (28,000 feet).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's really a huge place that's has some beautiful views in the port. U can see the ferries and it's close to the giant mall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the biggest joke ever. Very hard to get to talk to someone and when you do they are very rude. Can't get a call back. Can't book an appointment. This is by far my most frustrating experience in recent memory including US border crossings, and they can be bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a ferry terminal for people who are travelling to the island. As there is no viable option you are obligated to use this form of transportation if you wish to drive yourself.
A bridge would be very welcome. It must be about time to consider this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The size of this site is massive, and can be daunting. GCT services, as with it's other sites, is well organized, but because of the massive area that they cover things do not happen quickly, so patience is required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People are getting the wrong idea of this place. This is a work site. It is a shipping container dock that loads and unloads containers from ships to hwy trucks and rail cars to be distributed throughout canada and the u.s.. They do not offer "tours" and answer questions over the phone. They do offer tours of the site for one day every year in the summer mostly for Tsawassen residents interested in the activities of this port in their backyard so to speak.
They have been upgrading a lot of their yard equipment this year and I have been posting some pictures , in the past , of the arrival and erection of new Rubber Tired Gantrys and new Rail Mounted Automated Gantrys. New RMGS have arrived this week aboard a special transport ship and are bring unloaded. I will post some new pictures from time to time like this morning.
