About Creature Comforts Animal Clinic and House-Call Veterinary Services
Dr. Dana Decker was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She grew up working on horse farms and her adventures took her to Florida where she met her husband Bill. Together, they chose to make a huge life-change and moved to Australia when Dana was accepted into the veterinary program at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. After graduating in 2012 they packed up again and moved to Colorado, where Dana began working at a high volume commercial horse breeding facility as the on-site veterinarian. In 2014, Dana made the decision to switch to small animal medicine and has been loving it ever since. After living outside of Canada for 15 years, Dana and Bill decided to pack up their 3 dogs and 2 horses to move to Okotoks in order to be closer to family. They have a special love for “squishy faces” (bulldogs, etc) but adore all animals. We cannot wait to meet you and your pets and help you with your veterinary needs!

They're reasonably priced, quick to get you in for an appointment, they do house calls, and they genuinely care about your fur babies. Our cats have had some rather obscure problems recently, which took a bit of trial and error to sort out, but Dr Decker was with us every step of the way. This isn't just a vet, the crew at Creature Comforts take care of your pets as if they were their own. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Dana and her team at Creature Comforts are truly amazing. Dana has enormous patience and she truly cares about your pet. My Pup is quite anxious, and doesn’t care for going to the vet. Dr. Dana has visited us in our home, and he is now more comfortable when I take him in to see her. She has a great “bed-side manner”, really knows what she is talking about, AND her prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend, especially if you need a vet to come to you.

Tucker was nervous in a Vet clinic so saying goodbye at home was the best decision we've ever made. Highly recommend Dr.Dana to anyone. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Dr Dana and Bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not say enough good things about this clinic. I'm not great at writing reviews but I feel like it's the least I can do. Dr. Dana and Bill made saying goodbye to my little girl as easy as it possibly could be. They are both so kind, professiona, compassionate and respectful, it was like having a friend in our home which to me means so much. She explained everything in detail and was so gentle it made a truly horrible experience into something special. My girl hated the vet so much, saying goodbye at home was probably the best decision I could have made. I would highly recommend Dr.Dana to anyone. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr Dana and Bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dana Decker and Creature Comforts have been gold standard in every way. Dana made time to personally to discuss our cat's injury and explain the procedure options that could arise. Our cat's injury is healing beautifully.
We had no insurance had the added stress of how much it was going to cost. Creature Comforts charge was less than half that quoted by a vet clinic in Auburn Bay!
The quality of client service was far superior as well. When our cat was picked up after surgery, reception forgot to include the antibiotic - so Dr. Decker even made a personal trip to our home early the next morning - a Saturday - to deliver it.
I'd never go anywhere else.
