About Cranbrook Transfer Station
September 30, 2021 marked the first annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This day honours Survivors of Canada's residential school system, their families, and communities, and those who did not make it home. It helps ensure public commemoration of the history and legacy of residential schools in our country and is an important step in the process toward reconciliation.
If you missed out on participating in local or online activities on September 30, it's never too late to start - or build on - your knowledge and awareness and take meaningful action. The path to reconciliation is a continuous journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I go here with something other than regular garbage, the amount of attitude I get from the booth person is unbelievable. Very unprofessional. As I drove away today you could very clearly hear the person saying unsavory things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I checked your website and it says 'Open'...my drive to take garbage to the transfer station is about 15+minutes, one way. I drove down the strip to turn at Lordco and the road was closed. I drove over by Walmart to see if I could get through and it was also closed. Now the garbage has to go back home and I have to put in my large garbage can and put into the house because of bears.
You all do a great job there, it just would have been nice if someone could have updated your website.
