I want to start off by saying that the team at Country Homes is truly committed to building high quality houses. I have personally witnessed them going out of their way to make customers happy and comfortable in their new homes. The project managers are on top of each and every project, and the office personnel are very pleasant to deal with. The entire staff are extremely helpful, kind, and professional. They have great team that truly care about what they do.

Country homes is beyond excellent. They responded to my service needs extremely quick, and were able to schedule and fix the concerns right away. Anthony walked us through our home and showed us how everything in the home worked/where it was located in the house... he made the experience effortless and pleasant - and as a first time home buyer this was very much appreciated. Thank you country homes for making my first home buying experience such an awesome one. From start to finish. My house is beautiful!

The entire experience of Country homes was exceptional. They are truly a great team, polite, efficient and thoughtful. Special thanks to Christian, Anthony and Mara. We had an issue with our townhouse and they responded promptly and are always there. A very trustworthy builder. I have purchased several new homes from different builders in GTA and so impressed by Country homes’ services, materials and quality of work.

Very disappointing with several aspects of purchasing a home from Country Homes: 1. Unless you are a regular buyer who buys half the lot to resell- you are made to feel like you’re wasting their time 2. Design studio staff were very helpful but such disappointing choices! Especially the hard flooring options! Upgrades were all very similar and so few! 3. Understandably due to COVID there’s a delay... just wish they would stick to the contract deadline of when they can advise the buyer. The model home was beautiful, here’s to hoping my house will be what I envision it to be.

I am a professional home inspector that performs Pre-delivery inspections for Country Homes in Milton. My experience of inspecting new homes for Country Homes has been very refreshing! The whole team from upper management through to the finishers in the customer service department are passionate about building a quality product & providing top notch customer support/service. I have inspected thousands of homes in Ontario & in my professional opinion they build top quality homes. If i was looking to buy a new home in Milton i would have no hesitation in buying a home built by Country Homes.

I don't normally do google reviews but I had to share my experience with this company. This was my first purchase of a new home from any builder and I must say it has been a great experience from beginning to end. The finishes they used on our lakeview town-home were top notch quality. But what really surprised me was the after service I got from Christian, Mark and the whole service team in general. They went above and beyond to make sure all my repairs were done to my liking and in a timely manner. I will definitely be using Country homes for future new home purchases.

Would not purchase another home from Country Homes. 1. Warranty work is very poor. You can tell their service teams do not want to be there. You provide them a list of the deficiencies and they rush through the list just to get it done, sacrificing quality as a result. They do a little bit of work in the morning, disappear for the rest of the day, and then they supposed to come back, but don't show up. You have to take the role of a project manager because Country Homes does not follow up with you. They have to come back many times to finish a simple task. The quality and finish is just not there. 2. Many of the upgrades for the kitchen have to be redone because of poor material, quality and workmanship. To repair the kitchen is a minimum of 3 months to remanufacture the cabinetry. Then they call you the night before to tell you that they're coming the following day. If you do end up buying the home from Country Homes, I would recommend doing the upgrades yourselves or hiring a contractor at half the cost of what Country Homes would charge you. Just my 2 cents.

My wife and I purchased a detached home in Alcona Innisfil September of 2020 with Country Homes. The sales rep Lea was amazing! Very informative, helpful and honest. Once we made our purchase and we were no longer dealing with Lea, the experience slowly started going down hill. Decor was a challenge as the decor manager at the time was not very understanding of certain situations, however, we will get back to this later. While construction of our house was very slow, our issue was the poor communication and the amount of mistakes that were made. We had to contact them several times informing them of items being done incorrectly or were missing. With less than 3 months from closing, we got a email informing us we would not be closing at our expected date. They did not provide a final closing date with proper notice until we were a month away. Upcoming closing, they provided our lawyers an incorrect total purchase price and charged us an additional $452 for an amendment. They would not close the property unless we paid for something that was not our fault. After closing, we had several issues with the house. Most unforgivable is with our kitchen. We did not take kitchen uppers as it would be unused space. The decor manager informed us our cabinets would meet the kitchen bulk head. There is now a massive gap above our cabinets and after reaching out to Country Homes several times regarding this, they are not going to rectify as we do not have this in writing. I do not feel this is something I should have requested in writing as we were discussing directly with the decor manager. Money was never the issue, we just saw this as something we did not need. If we were informed correctly that would be a gap, we would have added the uppers. We now had to live with a kitchen we are not happy with or hire contracts to try and resolve this somehow. A safety issue we are currently having, our corner lot is being used as storage for their materials to build the remaining houses. We are are unable to walk around our property safely. Overall the experience purchasing with Country Homes was a poor one and personally would not purchase another home from them. This was our third time purchasing a new build. This has been by far the worst experience and longest 30 day Tarion form we have completed.
