★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike & Wendy are the best hosts you could meet. They have an awesome little place on the river and there is tons to do in the area. 20 minutes by bike to the farmers market in town (twice a week), hiking, lakes, river floating, etc. They have the best bathrooms we have ever seen. We will be back. Highly recommend a stay here.

The bathrooms are immaculate! Like 5 star restaurant nice.
A beautiful view of the mountains & river from the sites.
And the river float! Wow. Just wow.
Just a gem of a campsite. We will definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike and Wendy are great hosts. Washrooms are very much out of “home and garden” and clean. Some sites are awkwardly aligned beside neighbours site. Beautiful campfires on edge of riverbank watching sunset!
Wifi ain’t up to par. Might need a booster but if you’re charging $50 a night without sewer hookups, I’d appreciate strong wifi as a service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gem of a campground. Stayed in winter season (March). Extremely friendly management. Good quality and amount of wood for purchase. Electrical hook ups available (water not available til summer) at I believe all the sites. We stayed beside the water with electrical hook up.
Small but beautiful place.
Bathrooms were clean and modern. Very comfortable to use. Showers had hot water, nicely tiled and clean - and free!
Would definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This spot was truly a Country Hideaway Gem. We stayed here in July and the hosts were very helpful and treated everyone like family. The River was warm and a treat to float down in the heat! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came to Country Hideaway Campground for her birthday over the May long weekend. We have already told our friends and family about this place. It was very relaxing and beautiful. The location, right on the river, is ideal. The washrooms are a real plus - so nice to have clean showers and toilets when you're camping. Mike and Wendy take pride in their property and business and it shows. You can tell immediately that they are great people. We are already talking about coming back! Thanks for having us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great couple nights here this past week, Mike & Wendy are so friendly and accommodating. We were fortunate to be there at a quiet time and parked in the river facing spot. My husband and I and our 3 pups throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to getting down there again one day.
