Beautiful view on top, it's a tough trail for beginners. Gain over 1000m and some spot you have to scamble up. But it's worth all the work

We took the valley trail and enjoyed rambling over the cobbles and boulders and jumping narrow sections of the diverging creek. We encountered thunder storms and sunshine that enhanced the wonderful rugged nature around us. Ideal spot for rock climbers and we encountered many. Ankle boots and wool socks definitely recommended for this one to protect you from rolling an ankle and getting uncomfortable when water enters your boots from the stream jumping!

Second time hiking to Lady MacDonald. We failed first time in last winter because a snow storm. Someone is enjoying the sleeping time on the mountain.

This is very beautiful hike. View from top is totally worth it. But this is definitely hard hike due to so much elevation gain in short distance. I would not recommend this hike for beginners or the first hike of the season. You definatly need warm up hikes before this. There is no ice left on trail. Once you reach helipad it gets extremely windy so extra layers, cap and hand gloves would be recommended. Take some food and water with you must. Hiking poles were big help coming down. Proper hiking shoes recommended from Helipad to the sumit. Helipad to sumit is another 1 hour for trained peraon. There is fake summit which gaves you same veiw but to reach the actual sumit you have to pass very nerrow ridge. On a windy day its not recommended. Parking lot is very small. We reached there at 9.15 am on 9th of the June and we got the last parking spot.

Did this hike over US Memorial weekend. The trail wasn’t too busy, but there were spots with some ice and snow still - probably didn’t need crampons, but trekking poles were helpful. In total it was a 4.3 mile up and back, and we packed sandwiches to eat - but the tea house does have some food and beverage options.

Absolutely breathtaking views. It was a long hike up (roughly 2.5 hours each way) to the helipad but was very much worth it! Definitely recommend. Fall is the perfect time to go because of the beautiful colors and perfect temperature! Bring lots of food and water haha.

What a hike! This is a slight elevation trail going towards the mountains and then eases into a downhill on the way back. I both walked and ran this trail at different times of the day - it was beautiful each time. I ended up seeing deer in the morning and lots of travellers on their way home in the evening.

Nice parking lot with toilets. Beautiful views. Several hiking choices. We took Mountane Traverse.heads behind golf course in a north westerly direction. Really enjoyed it.
