I absolutely LOVE my couch, it is extremely comfortable and I get tons of complements. The shipping process was slow but Paige offered me a solution that no other company would so that I would not be without a couch the entire time.

We ordered a comfy couch from Couch Haus at the end of November 2021. The couch was delivered after many delays on April 27th, 2022. I’d like to start by saying that Couch Haus offers a good product for the money. It’s a comfortable couch overall, but I do have some issues with the Linen-Blend fabric. Firstly, once our couch was set up by the delivery company, we noticed some blue marks and scuffs here and there (not caused by the delivery team). Also, hair and lint stick to the fabric easily, so if you have a dog this may not be the best fabric for you. The reason I am giving Couch Haus such a low rating, is that the process of actually getting our couch was horrendous. Our original delivery date was February 19th, 2022. I contacted Couch Haus about our delivery on February 19th and did not get a meaningful response until March 2nd. I was informed that our order would now be arriving in the port on March 23rd. The tracking information in the e-mail did not work. March 23rd came and went so I reached out again and was told our delivery would not arrive in the port until April. In early April I contacted Couch Haus again who informed me that our couch had arrived in the port and was waiting to clear customs. After reaching out again, I was informed that our couch had arrived at the warehouse on April 14th. Couch Haus had offered us white glove delivery service to compensate for the massive delay which was appreciated, so a driver from West End Delivery (wonderful service!) contacted me and arranged delivery for April 21st. I took the day off work to be home for the delivery driver. One hour before my delivery was due, the driver called and said he had gone to the warehouse to pick up the couch but was told the couch wasn’t available. Needless to say I was furious. I e-mailed Couch Haus again, called them numerous times, DM’d Paige and her boyfriend on Instagram. I even commented on their Instagram account (comment was removed...) and finally had to resort to asking the delivery driver for a contact number which went to voicemail. I had completely lost faith in this company and honestly felt like I was being scammed. I really feel like I was offered excuses instead of accountability or progressive action to fix a problem. In one e-mail, an employee even said that the miscommunication was caused by the delivery driver β€œgetting too excited” about delivering our order. Our couch was finally delivered on April 27th. Couch Haus offered me a 50$ Amazon gift card and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience – I haven’t received either. Overall, this is a start-up company with limited resources within Canada. Their founders are young and inexperienced and struggle with over-promising and under-delivering. I felt like I was always reaching out for updates and getting excuses in return. I have no doubt that overtime they will work to improve things, but if I could do it again, I would spend the extra money to purchase from a more reliable retailer.
