Full service quit shops are a rare gem, from diy to having your quilt professionally finished, they will take good care of you.

If you are looking for a new machine or just getting into sewing look no further and go to Cottage Quilting. Customer service is outstanding/friendly and Meagan the owner is very knowledgeable. When you sew, to have someone who understands your needs is very important when deciding on a machine.

I don't know what its like inside, but their service department is lacking big time. contacted them Oct 4 for a new motor. over the course of a couple weeks i felt like i was getting the runaround, last i heard, oct 14 he was in talks with a motor company about a pedal to work with my new motor and he would contact me as soon as he heard anything. im still waiting, its now Nov 25, its like they just disappeared. i highly suggest going elsewhere for any service you need. I finally broke down and ordered a motor from New York. it'll be here today or tomorrow. edit.... that is absolutely not true at all. last i heard, oct 14, he was still in talks with the motor company.. no communication stating you were having a difficult time. you had my phone number as well, and no phone calls. would have been nice if you were just straight with me from the beginning. it is what it is. now i know

I brought an in stock se600 through the website on December 13 as the days go by I notice I wasn’t getting any updates on whether my package was being shipped I emailed them and to my knowledge they didn’t had the item in stock they was actually waiting on a shipment from brothers. If you don’t have an item in stock but a customer still wants to buy it and wait on it it’s consider as PREPAID next time updates the website to say PREPAID and inform the customer of the situation of the item. Even though Ik I’m not a prepaid kinda customer I still waited a month and several days but after the days kept getting pushed back I requested a refund I purchased the same machine from another establishment and got it within 4 days. Edit: Please note that you guys made it seem that the item will be coming from a warehouse that you guys owned. Yes I zoomed the owner but she only wanted to verify the card that I used (which was my boyfriend card so I understood why she did that) after that she said it will be shipped and I had to email you guys first to get updates. All I’m trying to say is if you guys do not have an item in yall possession but will be getting a shipment do not have it as “In Stock” and have the “buy now” button there it should of had “PREORDER” if I did saw that I would of gladly took my business elsewhere. You can post the emails I have no problem with that. The only GOOD thing I can say is that you guys do answer emails back and the money was sent back. But this reply right here is very distasteful If you guys did just take the judgment how it is and say that you will improve from now on I would of happily deleted my review. But you guys made it seem like I’m in the wrong and inserted little lies so the review stays. Anyway Enjoy your day.

I ordered by phone and received very courteous service. The item was shipped the next day and was delivered on the promised date! I will definately order again and plan to visit the store when in Kelowna.

A friendly shop with a good assortment of fabrics --very helpful, pleasant staff. Appreciate the online purchase / store pick-up option . There are frequent sales to help build stash or complete projects--thanks

Recently, my sewing machine seized up. I phoned another quilt shop in town, but found them to be uninterested and unfriendly. In contrast, when I phoned Cottage Quilting, I found them to be friendly and helpful. I took the machine in for servicing and was happy with the result. I would definitely recommend Cottage Quilting.

I ordered a Bernette B38 and the presser foot kit online for a Christmas present. It was shipped and delivered from Kelowna to Vancouver promptly and arrived in time, despite floods, and covid delays. The Presser foot kit was back ordered from the company, but emails were promptly responded, communication was great and it was shipped as soon as it came in. Customer service is second to none, and the prices are amazing! The extras like the free download .pdf workbook are really awesome. You can get it from Bernina, but it's nice to have everything in one place and makes for a great shopping experience. I would not hesitate ordering products online and definitely will be back for more accessories.
