This Costco from Orilla is the best I have ever been. Went to the one in New Market was I felt I was in a 3 days rave at the end when everything is all over the place. Employees could not organize lines, people would not respect anything seriously not sure what is up with the customers from that location. Everything was a mess. The Gas station was more expensive than the one in Orilla by almost 10c$ ! (The day I went) If you can. Drive to Orilla. Will be the best Costco experience you will have. Staff super friend. The self checkout people are just great (the self checkout system always crashes ) they are always around to help. Fast service. Perfect location. Store is clean and organized. And A hint. Never buy things online from Costco. They are most of the time more expensive than the store. So don’t fall for that trick on the 40$ off for new members.

In general, I like this Costco. However, the man running the propane station was a incredibly rude. Man in his 30s, baldish. He was very curt and made it abundantly clear he is miserable in his job. Accidentally brought the wrong receipt back and he tosses back the clothespin "I don't have time for this".....clearly this job isn't for you. Perhaps consider a job that isn't customer service if you are going to have that attitude towards customers.

The Orillia Costco is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, the store is always well stocked, clean and bright. Also, other than mid day on the weekend it never seems too busy. In comparison I was in the Barrie store a week or so beforehand and it was crowded, people were rude and the staff not available to assist.

Love this location always has lots of parking. It also maintains the standard of cleanliness and being well stocked that I have come to expect. I really appreciate that they donate day old foods to local food banks instead of wasting it!

Lots and lots of stock! Many prices were very good! Dish soap, cheese,meats,bread's were very good prices! So outstanding priced! Some products were averaged price like In other stores. Then very little products were over priced! Food court was simple but price point was fantastic! Checking out was fast! Parking lot busy. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Gas bar was 10 to 15 cents per litre cheeper than other gas stations. Only draw back is you need room in car and freezer other than that, well worth going!

I love Costco, friendly staff and great prices. I really appreciated how informative the optometrist was and saved a lot on glasses this past month. Never have a hassle returning items unlike other stores. It is my favourite place to shop?

I just want to share my experience with the tire center. I order a set of tires from Costco, but they didn’t carry my size of wheel. I contacted them to ask if I could take the tires as they don’t sell rims that fit but they advised the tires had to be installed at their warehouse. I went and bought wheels from another shop and was given a manufacturers guarantee that they would fit. I brought my brand new 2021 Durango RT to the shop. And when I say brand new, it has less than 2000 km. About 1 hour into the tire change I got a call saying that the wheels don’t fit and was provided some options, put the summer tires back on or change the summer rims to the winter wheels. No problem, I asked them to put the summer tires back on and I would reach out to the people who sold me the rims. Once I looked at the rims that I was going to need to send back, I realized that they were damaged during installation. Not only were the rims scratches but the Brembo brake calipers were scratched! I contacted their customer support line who told me I would have to call the warehouse to start an incident claim. They warned me ahead of time that the tire shop may be hesitant to start an incident claim and provided me the number for member benefits as well. I called the tire shop, and spoke to their manager Matt or Ned, I could never understand what he was saying. He told me that they change the tires on 60-70 vehicles per day and sometimes this type of damage happens during installation. They just “bolt on the wheels and if they damage the vehicle then it’s not their fault”. Now the place where I bought the wheels is not returning because the wheels are damaged and the manager told me they would “figure it out” but told me that he can’t start an incident unless I physically go back and see him? I can’t imagine that a huge corporation like Costco wouldn’t be able to start an incident online. Regardless, I’m shocked at the customer service and I will be following up with my lawyer concerning the entire incident. Just food for thought before bringing your car to this place, they will not support you if something happens to your vehicle.

Lots of great food items at reasonable prices. COVID rules prevent samples, which I miss. Plus their snack bar is takeout only for now. Easy to physically distance & masks required. Accessibility: 5 ⭐ one level, wide aisles, electronic shopping carts available. Worth the membership.
