This medical clinic is not worth a 1 star also ! It’s just a negative below negative I made an appointment at 5.30 pm today I.e. 10th Feb,2022. And the receptionist said doctor will call you in 5-10 minutes ! I assumed doctor might get busy so I wait 1 hour then 2 hours I called up again ! Because I had an epileptic attack few day ago and I need to check up with any walk in physician (although I have already a neurologist but I need a consent letter from physician to meet with my neurologist) . After 3 hours of waste waiting doctor called me he said if you need your neuro info call with your family physician and my family physician’s clinic is way too far from my home. So then this Doctor Ekladious he totally yelled on me and shouted “IF YOU NEED YOUR INFORMATION THEN CALL TO YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN, I AM NOT FAMILY PHYSICIAN OK!!! THIS IS WALK IN CLINIC CALL TO YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN” and then he hung up the call !! I mean what is this.? Is that supposed to call with your patients tell me Cornerstone ????? Is that how you treat with your patients ????and receptionist 2 ladies are horrible poor calling / no respect / don’t know to attend a call or telling them properly/ poor communication skills other remaining they are great listeners. Doctor Peter he is very much appreciated Doctor Peter he listens you perfectly and talk very politely also he understands your situation so next time guys if you make an appointment please don’t with dr ekladious. Thank you

I called in because my daughter’s stomach was upset and she threw up. My daughter is only 23 months old. I got scared and immediately called cornerstone medical clinic for an appointment. After multiple tries I got to speak to the receptionist. She advised us to come to the clinic by 3.45pm and Dr. Patel will be available to consult our daughter. So we reached the clinic by 3.45pm only to wait in the queue for more than 2 and a half hours to get to the Doctor. While waiting in the queue, the people who came after us got to meet the doctor immediately and our names were not even close to being called. When confronting the receptionist, she straight up lied to us saying that those people have already booked an appointment. Well me and my husband know and can understand hindi, tamil, english and malayalam and we heard the conversation between those people and the receptionist. Of course they just had walked in and asked if they could see the doctor and their names were called immediately to meet with the Doctor. This is unprofessional and clearly the receptionist prioritizes people based on race. She lied to us thinking that we do not understand hindi

My encounter with the various doctors at Cornerstone has been very pleasant. I had CS surgery recently and while healing I was infected, it took the grace and swift response of the doctors at Cornerstone to bring everything back to normal through their proficient referrals and follow up. This same thing with my husband. They rescued him fby regulating his blood sugar and BP.. Someone mention calls waiting time. It is understandable, because some of us stay on the line to get our health issues resolved. So it isn't their fault. Is it possible for a clinic nit to pick calls promptly knowing fully well it is alway between life and death? Let us be fair in our judgement. Thanks to the Cornerstone medical team anyways.

This is the worst walk in clinic ever. The place has an unpleasant odour and the doctors doesnt care what you feel. I tried to explain what I’m feeling and that doctor barely looked at it and i didn’t even understand what she was saying. I got a call after 3 days and the doctor was so NOT proactive in giving you solutions to cure you. Then after a week, she called me again about a result for a blood work that I didn’t know I’ll get charged out of pocket. This is a scam and the worst experience I’ve ever had in a doctors office.

WORST! Shame on them for still not seeing patients and only doing phone call appointments. I have been coming to this clinic for 10 years, and yes I've had some long wait times but was always able to see a doctor. In the past 3 months I have been turned away twice when I've taken my 10 year old son to see a doctor. Tonight I was told a doc will not look at his throat, when I can clearly tell and see there is an infection. They told me they are only talking phone call appt. How is a doc going to diagnose my son over the phone? We are not sitting at a hospital, and have been here for 3 hours.

Go here if you want pathetic and totally unprofessional service. I’ve had sub-par service several times but today just topped it off! I brought my 1.5 year old at 930 this morning who’s been struggling with cough and runny nose for almost 10 days and was fearful that she has strep or some other infection that may worsen. Tested her twice in last 3 days for COVID to make sure she was negative but was immediately returned and told that doctor won’t see her in-person due to COVID policy(although almost all restrictions in Ontario have been lifted). Anyhow I wasn’t going to debate on public health policy and didn’t argue with the receptionist. I was told I will get a phone consultation. Upon questioning how the doctor would check her ear and mouth that she’s been pointing to, I was told that the doctor will authorize an in-clinic consultation after phone consultation. After waiting over 4 hours we started calling the clinic but got no response. Finally around 430pm we got a call from the doctor who seemed incompetent and was in a rush. She just said to go to a “cold and flu clinic” - first time I heard of such a thing! Anyhow, asked her for where such a clinic is around us and she asked to just google it! We pushed back that why wouldn’t such a recommendation be made in the morning? There was no response. Anyhow we requested for an in-person appointment and the doctor then lied and said it’s ok go back to cornerstone clinic and she’ll tell them that she approved an in-person consultation on the phone. My spouse called the clinic a few minutes after hanging up with the doctor and they refused and said there is no such policy!! This is after what she told me at 930 in the morning and the doctor promising it on the phone! The receptionist refused and told us to bring the child to emergency and wait there. This is after we waited the whole day here already. When asked why did they not inform us of such a policy in the morning she lied to my spouse and said that they had mentioned this in the morning too. Blatant lies! We expressed concern on bringing the child to emergency and exposing her to a high-risk environment where there could be other more sick people and if it really made sense to bring her there based on her condition when the doctor didn’t recommend that. There was absolutely no concern about the child, the fact that the child is so young and parents are concerned, as any parent would be. We did another rapid test as the doctor and the clinic receptionist put so much doubt in our mind and test is negative again! Absolutely disgusted at our experience here. If there is anyone who can recommend what we can do under the public medical system and ethics code, please advise. Will do whatever I can to avoid someone else going through such an awful experience.

Will never recommend this clinic, had the worst of experience for myself, my son and my wife Doctors do not even take the effort to diagnose the issue. I had a severe pain in my wrist and went to this clinic, the doctor without even physically diagnosing asked me to get an x-ray and ultrasound which i did. The clinic never bothered to call me after the results were delivered and I had to continuously follow up to know that my results were delivered days ago and that the doctor says all is ok and didn't even prescribed and medicine though i was in a lot of pain. My son who is 11 had sneezing allergy, something which is common and minor for which I went to the clinic was asked to go back and call on phone as they wouldn't attend children due to covid and when I called wasn't prescribed any medicine My wife recently had her finger smashed in a door and we went to this clinic. The lady doctor they wouldn't even talk to her properly and didn't bother to diagnose the finger and feel the pain and instead of any pain reliver prescribed an antiseptic which was of no use and asked to get an x-ray which we did but as usual still waiting for a call from the clinic. In short wouldn't recommend this clinic as it is a total waste of time and money and no relief in the end. Hope the doctors have feelings for the patients pain as too much process these guys follow. Don't know if this is the training they get...

Honestly super frustrating when you call to make a phone appointment and they don’t answer the phone. I’ve been on hold for 20 mins and counting. Doctors are quick to move on the the next. My child has asthma and due to that they refuse to see him in office but yet to answer the phones. So annoying and unprofessional. Overall doctors are nice and understanding but front staff just simply doesn’t care. ***update*** Dr. Patel took the matter into his own hands. And called to to bing my child in after seeing his colleagues turn a child away. Due to a cough due to his asthma. Thank you for being so understanding and thoughtful to my child and my concerns. You are a great roll model to what a great doctor should be! Please keep up the great work! Sincerely one please mama
