★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an absolute joke. The guy looks like he takes every dime you give him right back to the local crack shack. Absolute scab gave my site away came to tell me I had to move because he has someone else who needs the site. Needless to say I paid for a week and demanded my money back from the guy and left. You’d be better off parking on the side of the coquihalla then in this dump

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have been staying at Copper Quarter Campground while waiting for our new home to be completed and have enjoyed the central location and close proximity to all Kamloops has to offer. While here we have been able to take in Barrel Racing and steer roping competitions that Kamloops Race Central hosts throughout the year.
This is not a destination resort campground. It is located in the heart of the area adjacent to an industrial site and as such it can be noisy at times. The owner and campground manager more than make up for any noise. They are friendly, approachable and work hard to ensure the campground is a safe place for their guests to stay.
If you are looking for a central location in the heart of the area then you have found it. It is the perfect home base to explore all that Kamloops and area have to offer.
I have rated it at 4 stars taking into account the noise from the industrial area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground was still under construction in August 18 when we camped there with our tent. Pretty primitive at that time (shower = watering hose ; chemical toilet), but host was nice and helpful with us. Noisy till midnight because of the nearby factory (campground located in an industrial area). 24$/night. A good place for one night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my crew and I where firefighting in Kamloops we ran into a problem with our accommodation and had to relocate, the guy running the Campground took us in free of charge nice showers and flush toilets, he's a beauty would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bejay & Jim are awesome! Large lots, most with water, sewer & wifi. Tenting spot with bathrooms & showers. Copper Quarter Campground is very well maintained. Love this place ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called the place about a month before our trip and he told us we were fine to bring our older unit into the campground. A day before we planned on arriving he informs us that RVs older than 2010 are allowed in his park. Funny, because half the RVs parked there were DEFINITELY not newer than 2010. Now every other campsite is full for the winter. Thanks for nothing!
