Its amazing how bad the rating of our consulate and how was the feedback where to bad. Its completely the opposite!! From the kuya that welcomes you and the cashier, processor’s and staff. This place is organized and well maintained, as long you read and followed the thing that you need to bring you wont have any problem. You can even here the “PO at OPO”as a courtesy used.Just remember CASH ONLY. Bring your returned envelope and don’t forget your paper works. Its by appointment.

My husband renewed his passport, surprisingly it was quick! Less than 10 mins and he's done! The problem is, the processing time. How come it will take 3-4months? :( we need it in April. :( how can we request to expedite?

The ambiance on the new office is very welcoming, and so are the people who works there. Me and my wife did our oath taking today and the process was fast and efficient. I like that they also have some inputs about the benefits of getting a dual citizenship during the event. Keep up the good work! :)

Went there for passport renewal. Though it’s nice that there’s no queue and it was quick, the requirements they said on their website has no use at all. There’s no point making an effort to get and photocopy those requirements. They only needed my photo ID and PR card. I just don’t get why they don’t check and use the other requirements. The front guy(an older man)has a “know-it-all” attitude. Kinda rude. The guy that helped us is nice tho.

Very nice service. I made a suggestion Google maps to change the pin on map. It has the right address but pin was wrong when my mom went there. Hope they will update it soon to help others locate it easily. I think it would help to search Calgary Business center as well.

My experience Visa 9(a) spouse visa Pros - I sent my application using Canada post. My application was processed and sent back in good time 1-2 weeks total Cons - A requirement for this visa is to have a return airline ticket (visa is valid for 3 months) I booked my airline ticket accordingly so my stay in the Philippines is 2 months. But when my visa was processed the dates don’t match my airline ticket (WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN THE APPLICATION) by 8 days. So my stay in the Philippines to visit my wife is shortened 8 days AND I had to change my return ticket costing me 500$ because the office couldn’t match the dates of my airline return ticket with the visa... Take away - I missed one week vacation to visit my wife and had to pay extra 575$ to change my flights..

I’ve had only a few appointments at the Philippine Consulate General but each visit has always been quick and straightforward. The folks who work there are courteous and happy to help. The current rating they have on Google is not reflective of their 5-star service. Hopefully they get the recognition they deserve!

Update April 1, 2022. Google Maps updated the red marker/pin! ❤️ We usually parked at the back of the building: Lot 193 115 - 11th Ave SE, so no need to cross the road/street. One day parking pass costs 17.05 per day. You need to upload Indigo App to pay. The Consulate’s service for passport renewal is sooo fast! Staff are very polite and accommodating. In our experience, it took us more or less 30 minutes for two passport application. ☺️
