★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Painfully over-Priced.
I was especially shocked to see they were selling the "Pop-up Parade" figures for more than any ebay listing I've ever seen for them. The keychains at the front are painfully obvious bootlegs with stolen artwork. Example: a Miku keychain we looked at had Haikyuu packaging on it but don't worry even their tacky knock offs are overpriced too.
(Also if you're socially anxious it could be a little intense for you. We had 3 employees all within ear shot of eachother ask us if we needed help one even interrupting me and my friends conversation and when we didn't turn our attention to him right away he sort of stood their waiting and looking at us which made me uncomfortable).

The atmosphere of the store was not only great but also kind and helpful but the store itself is well managed and easy to find what you need

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stock of models whether it is car or robot cannot be overlooked. While the model car is becoming increasingly hard to find this store still manages to have a selection of all of your favourite JDM legends and a nice selection of old hot rods and gassers too. Staff is knowledgeable on their wares as well. Store has always been reliable for anime and video game merch. Long live Comex Hobby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good store to browse and look around for any anime merchandise. Everytime I come to WEM I always take the time to come here. It is pricey however, but it is expected since these are merchandise shipped from Japan (or wherever else). It also has a pretty good selection of anime merch as well!
Would definitely recommend coming here if you are a collector or looking to buy any figurines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They definitely have a decent selection of anime figurines, but holy hell is it overpriced. You can probably get it 20-30% cheaper if you buy from amiami (tax and shipping incl) and just wait a week or 2 for a quality figurine. Never buying from this place again after learning this mistake the hard way. Also I asked the male staff for a stool to check the figurines placed higher on the shelves and instantly denied me in a rather rude tone, he wasn't even tall himself so I wonder how they get those figures placed up high?
Overall, a store that overprices even the smallest of figurines. If you don't want buyers remorse then don't come to this shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store. I've been shopping for years and I'm glad to see that they are still around. Great selection of model kits and action figures. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the items too. People who are complaining about the prices aren't factoring in the import fees, mall fees and shipping fees on literally all of their items. I'm happy to pay a little more to support a Canadian business. Keep up the great work and I'll definitely be shopping here again!
