I exchanged 3 different currencies last week and the teller who helped me was very knowledgeable and engaging to everyone thant he served. He clearly explained everything that I need to know and he has an excellent customer service. I asked his name and his name is Carl from West Edmonton Mall location. I highly recommend their service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was okay (and has been okay in the past as well) until we experienced very disappointing customer service today. On the WEM website, and Google, the mall hours and Calforex states, "10am to 7pm".
We were there at 5:54pm to quickly do a couple exchanges.
The teller rushed us, locked the doors behind us, and proceeded to say she's "closing in 4 minutes". She completely sped through the transaction, did not make any eye contact, and seemed pretty irked according to the tone we were given. We did not return the same hostility, and simply exited and left.
For dealing with international content, I found this very unprofessional, and have never found this type of customer service at this branch until today. I believe that clients deserve respect. What an unfortunate event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever. You will wait an hour or more just because the staff are terribly slow. They need to train their staff properly and hire more people. There is always a line outside of people waiting and there is only one slow staff member inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in there today going to exchange my Chinese New Year lucky money was okay for the waiting time I work in retail However the lady at the front told me that my 2000 dollar Taiwanese bill was gonna be less cause it was less desired and when I asked her why she just said it was harder to sell which I was okay with. Then I asked if i could pay the 3.75 on my prepaid debit cause it had like 5 bucks on it she said no and was really rude and said that it would screw up the transaction. When it came to finishing the transaction she just threw the money like she didn’t care on top of the envelope. When I asked her to put it in for me she just sighed in this really disrespectful tone and I just felt like what did I do wrong. I dont come often but I work in retail and I know how tough it is but that’s not how you should treat your customers. Truly disappointing.
