★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ooooohhh man! What a treasure this place is! The ice cream sandwiches were so good both in cookie and ice cream. They even have dairy free and vegan options.
The staff were helpful in explaining the differences between the sandwiches.
Will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a new experience and a local favorite. Delicious regular and lactose free ice cream sandwiches and pints. We had a plain Jane ice cream sandwich. Vanilla ice cream between chocolate chip cookies. So yummy!!! They also sell various flavors in pints. I totally recommend this place if you can find it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I am not eating cold comfort I am thinking about eating cold comfort. These guys have mastered dairy ice cream. They're plain Jane is so rich creamy and flavorful that I don't bother getting vanilla ice cream anywhere else. They're burnt sugar flavor is so unexpected and delicious that even one spoonful will satisfy any craving. They really surprised me with their Hoyne's beer flavor and the raspberry rose water Ice Cream Sandwich is one of my favorites as well. I can't praise them too highly. People continue to recommend other ice cream stores to me and none of them have lived up to cold comfort in my estimation. They're my go-to each and every time.

1.I do Not like ice cream. When given the choice between ice cream or bacon? It will be bacon.
2. They call it "ice cream" at Cold Comfort. Fair enough. However I would stab my own mom to get at the last container of any of their "ice cream." Luckily they never run out and mom was married to a Person of Interest to the authorities. So...here we are.
You Will Not Regret A Decision to Put This In Your Mouth. Promise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ice cream sandwiches are unreal. Had to go back two days in a row. Unique ice cream options too - I really enjoyed the Rosemarys Baby, which I didn’t even expect to. Flavours sell out quickly so I wasn’t able to try some that I wanted!

They have a wide array of flavours to accommodate many palettes from non-dairy to gluten-free options.
We visited Victoria for the weekend and stopped by twice and tried all their “mini” snack-size sandwiches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I checked their website before visiting, and I was excited since there were soo many flavors! But there were only ice cream sandwiches and no ice cream scoops/bars, with limited flavors. I guess I was also expecting a storefront and not a little stand in the back of a parking lot. I found the choc o'clock to be very rich (with the chocolate cookie much sweeter than the chocolate ice cream).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you also believe an ice cream sandwich should be wedged between two soft and chewy cookies, then you are in luck! The vegan plain jane is a classic and perfection. The salty chocolate chip cookie is a great pairing to the vanilla filling. Don’t walk… run!
