Every person that I have met that is associated with the organization are warm, open and so kind and thoughtful. The staff at the second hand store at the Cook street location always greet each and every person who walks in the door in the same happy, cheerful and respectful. The people in the back of the store who accept the donations everyday are just as welcoming. I’m always so thankful for the fact that when my children outgrow their precious belongings that I don’t have to throw them out but that they will go to another child who will keep loving them like my kids did. Being in a wheelchair is a challenge getting around and if I have purchased a large item i.e. a bookcase or a mirror the staff, in both locations that we frequent Pandora and Cook) will secure it safely on the back of my chair or will hold it until I’m able to find someone to pick it up for me. Above and beyond every time it’s a win, win, win situation. I can purchase good quality clothing at a much lower cost, we can donate our outgrown items and we feel good about where the proceeds goes!!!
R	Richard Philippo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like any 2nd hand store, ya have to be somewhat knowledgeable re what's collectable vs price. Or, perhaps something catches the eye that ya just gotta have. Me, as long as what I'm ogling is in good condition at a good price, it's mine. I enjoy brouzin' the WIN stores particularly 'cause they don't sell junk. They seem to be knowledgeable about what their customers expectations are including cleanliness, organization and, first and foremost, affordability. What really turns my crank is when I come across a great find. Usually, at least every 2nd or 3rd visit, I stumble across a collectable, sometimes worth a considerable dollar. Mostly, I don't experience that with their competitors. Two thumbs up, especially, cause what we all spend at the WIN supports Women In Need + creates job opps for what seems to be...women. What a deal!

I get it’s for charity, but $50 for used shoes is just too much. Also, while paying for my item, the person behind the counter kept pausing the transaction. She said she was busy learning Farsi. At work?

Sometimes I see men's stuff at higher prices that retail..seems a bit too much focus on brand rather than material etc. Other than that pretty good overall and a much less cluttered environment

Some prices at this thrift store are decent but when it comes to shoes, clothing & accessories they're overpriced which doesn't make sense as most of those items go through wear and tear so better buy brand new instead of 2nd hand.
