I have to nominate Dr. Cohen’s secretary the worst incompetent disrespectful and rude secretary. Bad experience with my toddler and please stay away. This was not my regular family doctors office but we had to come to walk in and Dr, Cohen’s office was open as walk in. What waste of time!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen since 2001. So impressed with the care and attention to detail. He has saved my life at least once, and his follow up with me has been fantastic. 5 stars to Doctor Cohen and his staff.

Long time patient from when Dr Cohen took over the practice. My wife and I have found him to be caring, kind and considerate. His organization skills allow him to spend time to research and keep up to date with medications and treatments..We have benefited from his expertise and would happily recommend him.

The good thing about having smart phones record phone conversations is the fact you can go back and and listen to make sure you don’t forget any important details of a previous phone call. While on the phone mid October with doctor office it was explained I would need to make an in person visit on November 11 and to call back the week of November 11 for a confirmed time to attend doctors office. So I placed that phone call earlier in the week as advised and that was returned morning of November 11 asking me if I was going to make my appointment in 2 hours. It was also explained to me that I was wrongly advised about calling back the week of November 11 because they don’t schedule any appointment times until the morning of those appointments for the day (i’d hate to be the patient who received a phone call and needs to be at there doctors appointment within 30 minutes and its a 1 hour bus ride) I explained I needed more than two hours notice for my doctors appointment as the previous phone call I had lead me to believe I would know an appointment time earlier in the week . The lady becoming more frustrated after learning I couldn’t make the appointment told me the next available appointments not until December and hung up on me. My question is will I get a phone call randomly the morning of my doctors appointment in December or will I have some notice prior to appointment? More details to follow… Now its December 1 and I left a message with the doctors office asking when my December appointment was, My message was returned later that day and went to my voicemail mentioning I have an appointment on December 14 in the evening and “I will need to call into the office to get the time” (would’ve been appreciated if they were able to leave the time of the appointment at the same time they called me to let me know the day of my appointment) As requested on December 2 I called back the office to find out this appointment time and have not heard any response. It’s now December 14 in the early afternoon and I still don’t know what time my evening appointment is tonight. I’m here guessing what time frame are they considering the evening, could it be as early as 5 PM could it be as late as 8 PM? Do I plan to have dinner tonight with or without the family?

Dr Cohen is amazing, his rude, eye rolling receptionist is the issue. I’m aware it’s tough to retain staff, I’ve been going to Dr Cohen for 20 years and this is the worst receptionist he’s ever had, everyone previously was friendly and competent. Doesn’t take anything seriously, easily overwhelmed, dealing with her in painful. Today I called about my increasing rapid heart rate (138) and her answer was he doesn’t have any appointments and to “call back and listen to my outgoing voicemail after we close” for the on call urgent care offices number which opens at 5. Then when I asked, she gave me the phone number without pause since it was clearly on her desk. Can’t wait to see the back of her. If Dr cohen want as competent I would go elsewhere just to avoid having to deal with her rudeness and inefficiencies
