Products = great quality. Customer service in store could be improved, the people who work at the front don't seem happy to be there. Also a small detail: the shopping baskets are too big for the size of the store. It makes it hard to move around in such a small store that is packed with stock everywhere. I'd suggest smaller baskets for a more comfortable experience :) thanks for providing great products to MTL!

I feel scammed! Being buying prickly pear oil for ages and was happy to find what this store called : 100% virgin, cold pressed prickly pear seed oil from Tunisia. I bought the 98$ bottle and realized when I opened it that it has a different consistency then the usual brands I purchase. This, without a doubt, has been diluted. I called the store and, of course, no reimbursement as the bottle was opened. As the bottles they sell are filled by them (the sold bottles are their own with their name on them), there is no quality control and therefore who knows what they mix/dilute with!

I absolutely love their stuff. The only complaint that I have, is they have not figured out how to get things out quickly. I often will order from other suppliers because I have within 3 weeks. ( I've been ordering from cocoeco for over 2 years) I've also spoken to other people who can agree that if shipping was a bit faster we would order more.

Terrible customer service. No one was there to answer questions and there was a line up for the cashier. While I was struggling, someone got out from the back and rudely answered my questions. She was rushed to go back at the back of the store. I also called in advance to make sure the product I needed was in store. The lady answered that everything available on the website is available in store. I got to the store the same day and it was out of stock.

Beware! I bought this rose hydrosol at the end of January. I intentionally didn't open it until about a month ago since I wanted to buy a microbial test kit and test out some preservatives so I'd be ready to preserve it right away after first testing it for microbes. I was shocked to see the result below that indicates that it contains 10,000 bacteria per millilitre!! It looks and smells fine. This is incredibly dangerous, especially when you consider that many spray hydrosols on their face and the likelihood is high that it could get into the eyes and some will even drink them. I contacted Coop Coco and offered to mail it back to them. They refused to do anything about it since I was past the 7 day limit for returning hydrosols. After telling them I was going to write a review, they said that when social distancing restrictions are lifted, I could bring it in for them to test. I'm really not impressed. They should be doing a recall on this batch of hydrosol and giving everyone a refund, not just me. I wouldn't trust any of their hydrosols. Besides this, all the oils and butters I bought had the same expiry date so they're obviously not going by the actual date that the oil or butter was extracted.

Disappointing. While this store has the stock you might want/need, the customer service & the vibe in store is enough to steer business elsewhere. I can see the owner has justified the poor customer service in other reviews with masks, but this issue predates the pandemic. This feels like not a great place to work. When staff are valued & appreciated, you feel it as a customer. I would keep supporting this business if it wasn’t what it has been every time. The 3 stars are for the products.

The selection of products is pretty good, however the customer service is just so so terrible. Every time I go in it’s the same thing. It’s disappointing, I can’t really work out why it’s so difficult to great your customers with simple kindness. Even when you are ready to pay at the register they look at you with confusion as to why you are even standing there. The only reason I keep going back is that it’s close enough to walk and when I need something in a pinch it’s cheaper than ordering online with some other place and paying for shipping. Also do not order from them online you will literally be waiting for over a month for your order. When you go in keep your expectations low mes amis!

Welcoming and helpful. I have been shopping for my essential oils for several years at CocoÉco (previously Coop-Coco) and they also have an interesting array of products. With the pandemic, the store is encountering some supply problems, hopefully not to last.
